I think my post getting that response is infinitely better than some posters on here talking about the CEO’s house design and what they had for tea, with affimers in them

Trip hop is it wasting my time posting an alternative viewpoint and getting a credible response like JD gave? That gives me a bit of comfort in the investment I have here. Where the likes of you fall down is failing to listen to any negative comments and dismissing them as derampers etc

JDT excellent well reasoned point and perhaps that is one from my viewpoint I struggle to comprehend. These are the nuanced points of view that I (and others like global) are hoping to receive when we post something other than “Avacta Avacta Avacta/topping up etc).

Look back through my posts on avacta - you will see I was formerly positive. You can’t dismiss anyone who doesn’t post a positive viewpoint as being a deramper

Chengdo you must have a fairly big ego to think my post was directed at you. It was general. For reference I’ve already made a tidy profit from Avacta and have previously been a big believer. My post was purely in reference to the plenty that dismiss anyone that doesn’t post rich ken or Myles style posts

Plenty on here are still wearing the emperor’s new clothes and dismiss the likes of global as being a cretin/doom mongerer etc. I, like Global, had previously held big. I’ve recently reduced my holding by 90% and the remaining 10% is purely just in case they do actually pull something off, which is looking less likely. The more the timescales get pushed on, the less relevant whatever they have to offer to market becomes. The price now is purely based on whimsical speculation that they may make plenty of money.

To date they have never made a profit and have only every turned over a maximum of £6m in a year - to put into perspective that is less than the number of likes PL69 gets in a week.

And this is exactly the kind of dialogue we all want from this board. We kind of disagree but we both accept we don’t really know. The stooges clogging up the board with pictures of houses for the CEO should take note.

Hi SJ. Completely appreciate your viewpoint and couldn’t say you are wrong. However, my thoughts from the complete failure of track and trace which relate to the hypothesised spit test with phone app as many have proposed (which is the only way a home test could work) are as follows:

The other thing to bear in mind is the lack of uptake in track and trace. British folk don’t like the idea of being tracked by someone or something. If the idea behind Avacta’s test is for joe public to buy themselves and use at home then that must mean that:
a) they obviously have to buy the test themselves - that’s an issue as opposed to govt orders like NCYT have taken which are golden geese.
b) it must be linked to some kind of track and trace app that shows you are ‘clean’ so you can go to the pub or whatever and do thinks Han**** and the rest of the animal farm crew don’t want you to do without their say so.

I may well be completely barking up the wrong tree but I have some serious nagging doubts about the different signals we are seeing. I will continue to monitor though and would have absolutely no shame in admitting I am wrong in a few weeks (and I hope I am)
as I know some of you have large positions in this

You see what you and the gang (PL etc) clearly don’t understand is that before the likes of you came along there were people that commented on these boards that genuinely want to offer their thoughts rather than crying “ramper/deramper”. If you disagree either ignore what I say or offer an alternative viewpoint - that’s what these boards should be for. If not then go back to Facebook
