Same predicament haha. They're my two largest holdings. I do think both will come very good (along with SNT) so holding for gold.

Also not good practice to push everything into one Share

A share consolidation can make a share look more attractive to larger investors or funds who don't like to invest in penny shares.

Another reason could be to consolidate so that they can then dilute slightly.

Again no actual mention of a consolidation here at Vela so far

Sorry I may have read your post wrong Jimmy but a condolidation has no effect on the shareholder's share value. It will be equal as their shares will reduce in line with the total shares... There's been no hint towards a consolidation either (unless I have missed it, possible)

Bought more, not sure why it is so volatile when the news is largely positive.

Just bought a little bit more on the dip.

Not sure why we are slowly decreasing in SP, news is fairly positive and trial results due soon. There's the placing but at a price higher than here. Odd

I'm no means a big investor but i've just had to find some money to buy the -9% dip!

I have nothing to back my gut instinct here but I feel there could be a consolidation at some point in the next couple of years.

Syme won't want to be penny share forever.

Your shares will consolidate by 300-1 in line with what all the shares of the company.

The value of your shareholding will remain the same you will have less shares but they will be at a vastly increased price

Will be of the same value to the shareholder.

Normally though a consolidation brings some attention to the share and some investors are more likely to buy a share a 30p than a penny stock
