Anyone know what's that's about?
good god! having to write off a whole dollar!
Thanks
I topped my holding up by 30000 around 9:30 this morning but couldn't see the trade going through.
I've always liked the look of this company so i bought in at 75p on Friday and have just bailed out at 71p. If i'm going to write off £300 quid to experience I'd like to know what's going on!!
Anyone know why it's gone up today or is it just one of those great mysteries?
Can anyone give a real price, just put a dummy sell through and they wouldn't even give me 10p
I keep 10% of my available cash to back tips and I read the sunday times comment as well. I've put £2k in and am holding a further £1k back for the ri he believes must come before it flies. I know doing your own research is vital but I'm a lazy toad and if I can use someone else's all the better. Also I love trading in these sort of companies as I can see my trade going through - yes those 3,650 shares were mine!!!!
I feel that the market always over reacts. I've been looking to get into this sector for some time but always felt that the price was too high. Bought into UU. a couple of days ago so I've got a loss there but now bought into Northumbrian as well as Severn. good luck all ;)
Anyone watching this forum, I bought a whole £5k of these yesterday on something of a speculative punt. When does this rather juicy dividend get paid?
Yea ok smart arse, they had but I was still in bed!!!
Holding for the time being but if they go towards 140, I'm out.
Er - u do know they went ex div today?
That's £2.8mn per pub. To make that pay they'll need to sell an awful lot of beer. Wonder what qualification their FD has?
Don't hold shares but keep an eye on what's happening with this company as it's one of our customers. Is it normal for a very large trade (over £3mn) to get booked at 4:35?
Held this one for 3 months and it once showed a small profit.Sold yesterday for a small loss so it's probably a good time to buy. Still don't understand why the share price is so low / sluggish. Ho hum.
Thanks for the answer :)
OK, so I didn't understand why these went up in value and now I don't understand why they've come crashing down - the judgement on the US case was ages ago! Can anyone spread some light or is it just another case of market makers never having enough of a good thing?
Anyone got any hard info on the recent falls. Bought into this with a whole load of other companies shares when the 100 hit 3500 back in March and this is the only dog! Not complaining as another was premier oil so trebles all round there. Market up 20%, this one down 15%, approaching time to cut losses and sell?
No idea but as I'm sitting on a very nice little profit I won't feel the need to drown my sorrows tonight.
