The drop from 68p yesterday was due to Tekne Capital Management, LLC increasing their short position from by 0.58% (8 million shares shorted).
Mean while Blackrock and AHL partners reduced their positions by 0.09%(1.24 million shares) and 0.05%(0.69 million) respectively.
This means that the short squeeze is still imminent and could happen anytime soon. The fund managers are going to understand the lesson hard way.
Blackrock reduced their shorts quickly yesterday which shows that they got burnt. I am waiting for Tekne to burn soon.

The author of a petition launched to save a cinema from closure fears its loss will be a "massive blow" to quality of life in Runcorn.

Ryan Stewart, 20, who works part-time as a team members at Cineworld on Trident Retail Park in Runcorn, said the venue is one "of the very few leisure facilities" in the town. He said there are more than 20 jobs at risk, adding that the team enjoyed a bumper year last year with a string of blockbusters putting viewers on sears including Avengers: Endgame, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Toy Story 4 and Aladdin. At time of writing, a petition launched by Ryan calling for the cinema to be saved had been signed 1,670 times.

Even at the slightest hint of one cinema closing, the MPs are getting involved and petitions are being signed. Everyone in the town is worried and local businesses associated with cine are putting all effort to resolve the rent issues. Even the council is getting involved.
Derampers here talk about cine going bust, but the news tells me that public is not willing to let go even just one theatre, forget the whole of cineworld.

The reason MPs supporting cinema is because in lockdown everyone wants to go out and cinema is the best entertainment around. Not long for us to see £1.5 to £2 per share.

Looks like some have been fired today. Not seeing them around now for sometime.

Despite all the negativity and rumors spread by paid derampers, the stock is doing very well and already up 65%+ from its low of 32p. I think it is time the derampers are sacked by their shorting managers as this gamble of theirs has not played well. Really feeling for those derampers who will be sacked in the coming days.
