Engage platform will show full potential of VR Education says CEO Whelan
14:03 18 Sep 2018
Dave Whelan, VR Education Holdings Plc ’s (LON:VRE) chief executive, believes the imminent launch of education platform Engage will be a key moment for the business.
“Finally we can get to show exactly what the platform can do,” he told Proactive.
Whelan says only half the system has been available thus far, but VR has nonetheless won plaudits for its Apollo 11 and Berlin Blitz recreations,
with Dambusters and an updated moon landing in the pipeline.
People are starting to wake up to the potential of virtual reality in the education and corporate training space, he says.
The launch of Engage, expected by the end of 2018, will enhance awareness of both VR and the company, especially with new headsets being launched all the time.
