...
Great insight Alexios.
I have some gold as well in GGP and EUA - is that the kind of gold you are talking about or the comical type?
How deep are your pockets?
Or the winner could be middleEastMoney who will short.
10p on open? LOL
Good luck with the short.
I can't see anything... where am I?
If it get's to 15p, then it's happy days for Elkarter.
@Parsley2 instead of mouthing off, why don't you tell people where you are shorting?
The Non-exec bought £24,999.60 - this could simply be remuneration which goes off the record and trying to show some confidence. At best it's just remuneration and worst just a petty trick by the board to get some confidence.
stuart. I'm not agreeing with Ian as there is too much uncertainty in the statements (my response below).
Good luck.
Ian, Some good points, but I have some thoughts on this:
::::::: Mooky was told by the head of MGM that Bond will be released in November:::::::
- we are not sure what this conversation was.
:::::::When they backtracked, Mooky had enough and is now fighting back:::::::
- Mooky has thrown his toys out of the pram.
:::::::I am sure he has or will have the debt waivers signed off.:::::::
- We have no idea if he'll manage the waivers - the credit rating is shot.
:::::::While also getting government aid:::::::
- Which we have no news at all that the government would even see him.
:::::::new credit facility and try and force the studios to start releasing movies:::::::
- The studios won't be held to ransom. The big two cinemas own approx 20% of the US and UK market. The studios have another 80% to rely on. The governments are helping the independent cinemas.
:::::::Cineworld sp has not far to fall in comparison to AMC, Cinemark and all the studios:::::::
Cineworld market cap is more important than the share price. The bottom could be very low.
:::::::That is where the shorts will be aimed at, bigger profits:::::::
- The shorts aims vary by their nature of shorting. Shorting in a herd mentality is unlikely.
:::::::Expect all this week massive conference calls between studio heads and cinema CEO’s:::::::
- They may have already exhausted their avenues
:::::::I do not see this dropping to 10p:::::::
- It could do, perhaps not tomorrow though.
:::::::This opens up the opportunities for an aggressive takeover approach. It might drop to 36p on opening and then slow creep up to 38p:::::::
- A hostile take over will be at a very low price.
:::::::The majority of the shares in this company were bought at £2 a share. So the funds, HSBC and GCT will not be selling anytime soon:::::::
- They may cut their losses.
:::::::Jangho, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs have not changed their holdings. If they do not sell. Then there will not be a crash. :::::::
- Jhango, MS and GS can all afford to lose - but they have been known to pull the cash when necessarily.
:::::::Next week will be interesting:::::::
- That it will - I assume many will be selling and running. Many new shorts and existing inst. investors could run.
I am not sure if this holds true laidback

@Hollamatronic some great points there. It has become too personal for some and they can't see it for what it is.
LOL - @NoFear. Thanks for the advice, but I think you should give yourself some advice on CINE - focus on your own investments. Don't get personal.
£1 on Friday?
DubaiDave, just ignore the nay sayers, if they were that bright they wouldn't have lost out here. The very same people who tell you not to short here are shorting elsewhere.
That's a tough one DubaiDave... it's worth holding on to something, but sometimes the crowd can cloud your own judgement. The typical example is here.
LOL - I'll tell them when to close.
