causal true enough. Despite “knowing better” I enjoy ? watching the sp as we approach close and it seems most days it falls in the last hour, 30 minutes or even the last couple of minutes ( as it did yesterday by at least 0.30p ) for no real reason as evdenced by the trades.
This doesn't seem to hapoen on most shares so I'm assuming its day traders. Hopefully the days are approaching when the sp will be less volatile and they will go and play elsewhere.

on the back of very little news - some appear to be buying even more are selling today.
The only people with any clue at the moment are the market makers I think - who are definitely moving in mysterious ways up to and during the open offer and at present.

willow genuine ineptitude is a very kind, polite and mild description.
Highwaymen and Muggers spring readily to mind, although I agree they are inept - at least as far as producing value goes. Strangely they haven't been quite so useless on the salary front.

included in my calculation. Your figure is correct - I'm reaching fir my humble pie.
It is interesting to note though that every time the shorts have increased recently, even on days like today with more buys than sells, the sp falls. Possibly something to do with the declaration showing up 2 days after the event ?
Makes you wonder if others get the info in a more timely fashion - and does explain the drop in sp ?

unreported sales as the sp seems to be moving in the wrong direction for the reported figures.
No change in shorts reported yet today.
Frustrating to see the way the market is reacting to bloody good news especially after the hysteria over much smaller negative figures.

No. Its not that good.
When Jay said the deal was transformational I doubt this is the result he had in mind but the reality is like watching congealing custard ( the sp ) slide ever more slowly down a wall !

Is that the market making a price, bond holders converting or just sheer coincidence with 6 PI's taking profit or one doing it in 6 tranches ?

just wondering how many shares were bought and sold bwtween 10:38 and 13:59 and how much the market made out of those trades while the "real" price was apparently 29.50 ?
Brings into question whether delayed reporting is a good thing ( and who for ) ?
