This is good news. A major hurdle has been overcome, well pushed back, but the new finance arrangements calms the water.

Looks like the timeline for a return to normality has been taken as a positive. Travel companies are doing well across the board. SAGA attract the group of people who have suffered the most through isolation but now have plenty of savings to spend and will now fancy a nice relaxing holiday. Bring on the summer cruises.

Chez please don't think that I'm being negative here but my advice would be for you to sell your shares, take a small loss if that's the case and go and learn a little bit more about investing/trading. You'll thank me in the long run.

Chez in theory the value of your holding will be the same. Sometimes the market sees it as a bad thing and the price will drop slightly. Vice versa if the market likes it. The consolidation does not make a single jot of a difference as to the upcoming operations that the company will undergo. If I may can I recommend a small investment in a book that will increase your knowledge. For me 'The Naked Trader' was a good education and I'm sure many on here will have their own 'bibles'.

There will be an RNS soon regarding flow rates. It's not going to state 500bopd it will be considerably less. This is to be expected and if anyone thought that we would get 500 bopd from the off is not being realistic. Manage your expectations. I want to hear something along the lines of 'free flowing' 'increasing daily' 'in line with expectations' 'on target to produce 500bopd'.
The real deal is WN. Don't take your eyes off the prize here ladies and gents. All IMHO.

Hi itsawrap. 'oil is flowing' as apposed to 'no oil contact established' so it's a good thing. As to your question regarding why timings are not reported is due to it being fairly difficult to predict so it's left open ended. When we get the RNS reporting established commercial flow rates and monthly sales reports that's when we will rub our hands and comment 'this time next year Rodders'.
There are really good knowledgeable posters on here who have years of experience as drilling supervisors and on site company men. I'll leave it to them to comment further on the ongoing operations.

GKB got to agree with you there mate. The lack of information from the company in regards to West Newton is poor. We were getting information through the community liaison group for god sake ! People will comment that Rathlin don't have to keep shareholders up to date but they sure as hell need to keep their partners up to date. The EWT is a must and those commenters who were saying it won't be needed for an onward sale are deluded. I do believe that WN will come good but it needs a bit of a shove on.
As for Wressle I really don't see the problem here. It's a good well (IMO) that they are cleaning up and establishing oil flow rates. It will need a proppant squeeze as already mentioned by DB. It could take about 5 weeks to get this established but people on here want it now and throw their dummies out the pram when they aren't being fed RNS's every day. What do they want in the RNS??? New spanners arrived on site today ?? FFS.
The other issue is some of the most prolific posters on here who spout absolute shyte. Unfortunately the uneducated listen to every word and then wonder why things aren't turning out the way the shyte spouters profess. Doubt causes the cautious to sell it's as simple as that and this share has always suffered from a lack of news. I can see this falling further the longer we go without news. If it does I will top up and add to the 100mil I already hold.

I would think that the short term profit takers/top slicers have already sold. New investors/traders looking for the next step up and IMHO we may see 5p today.

I think the sales team are top operators. A lot of experience and certainly embedded in the right circles.

No problems here with people selling at the end of the day if they bought in on Tues or Weds they have made a tidy profit. Could have held them though and made a bigger profit as this has got a long way to go yet. There is plenty of buyers taking what ever is being made available and liquidity is excellent.

We haven't got any shorts open for them to squeeze. Have we ??
