Hi all, just wanted to get some opinions on whether people think lockdown will be extended in December as I know it could be a make or break thing for stocks like this. RBG and the like will benefit greatly over the xmas period if everything opens yet we may see this SP plummet again given a lockdown extension.

Good point about taxes, indeed, the treasury will need the money after this year!

I think the stock is nevertheless undergoing a positive rerating (I mean 8-16 after vaccine, 16-23 after restructure), if lockdown isn't extended then it is not unrealistic to expect the SP to reach 30p+ during the xmas period

Hopefully the xmas period will be a god send for many pubs, particularly as I think more people than ever will be out celebrating xmas this year after yet another lockdown

I am holding strong, good news and end of lockdown to come, I have faith lol

I think the real rise will come when they actually reopen in December

Hoped this hasn't roofed, thought momentum would continue today... maybe it was a bad idea buying in at 70p when it could go back down to 60 *doh!

Gradual increase or does anyone think this will recede slightly over the next few days?
SP seems to react really well to positive news so hopefully will spike again when oxford vaccine comes and lockdown ends

Thank you for advice all, decided to buy in at 70p today, can see this rocketing to 90 next month if there's no lockdown and then to 100+ as everyone goes out boozing in the post vaccine world.
Yes Dave, I understand that, however the less pubs there are the more the likes of MARS will sweep up those excess customers (similar to airlines or just about anything commercial).

If no lockdown can see this rocketing back to 30-40p next month alone, good financials now and also extremely popular over xmas period.

Surely they won't extend lockdown in England now, its not socially or economically viable

Just over an £8 target? Don't make me laugh, this SP was £8 yesterday and it will be £15-17 within a year. If you read the likes of Peter Lynch you'll realise how backward looking targets and broker firms can be.

Yes in all fairness I've rearranged my investments regarding this and I think others should too, TUI's SP will struggle to regain to any decent amount until the debt is paid off ... which could be years

Agreed, just topped up. As far I can tell, as someone quite rightly mentioned, unlike TUI, EZY counted losses not enormous debt and is in a great position to recover
