Thanks for the tips Hereshopin, what I didn't say that makes it even worse, was that I had already gone in and out and made a quick £300 in 3 or 4 minutes, but stupidly went straight back in thinking it was still on a rise, that was on Tuesday immediately after the drop. Predator, I agree, but recently I have been taking a chance on heavy droppers and done ok in literally minutes but I f'd up on TCAP today, bought high, bottled it and sold low, only then to watch it rise 20 minutes after I sold.

why this fell in the first place from 165 at the end of 2014? Research always tends to be at the bottom of my list, hence my post earlier today about TCAP

Yes, it was me. I pulled out of Talk today at 116. I've been in and out about 5 times.

I was fortunate to have a broker at the time who was launching up to 5 new companies a week onto aim. The shares shot up as soon as they hit the market, you couldn't go wrong. Double, treble quadruple and sometimes 10x and usually sold and out within 2-3 hours. Each investment was between 10k to 30k so you can imagine what the returns were! The laughable bit was that I only ever gave my bbroker 10k and I got that back within a week. As a result I gave up work when I was 36, paid my mortgage off and went off on lots of holidays, but the exciting bit was getting back from holiday to open all the broker notes to see how much money I'd made while on holiday. Being the sort of bloke I am, I gave lots of friends and family members the nod who also did very well.

What sort of age groups do we have here? I'm one of those lucky gits that got rich in the dot.com boom in the late nineties. I was in my thirties then.

Yes good debate. Patience is my downfall, I haven't got any. I'm currently 10% / 10k down on my ISA at the moment and most of it is due to lack of patience. Classic example today that cost me £2600, I bought into TCAP after the drop on Tues, but a bit too early at 284. Then watched it go down and down and took the decision this morning to sell at 246 after which it then rose all the way back up to peak at 277.96 which would have left me just £400 short. But on the flip side, patience also doesn't pay, as I have a pile of other crud sitting in my portfolio for months. I am going to go out of my way to be patient with Koov if I can. GLA

I just tried 4k and was quoted 75. Weird, I've never had that before when buying

I tried 30k and they wanted 79

Can't get a quote for 10k or £300 or 2k but can for 5k. Strange
