Nice choice with the house, it looks even better in the flesh. From a practical point of view, rather than looks I like the one with the brick built warehouse/workshop in the back garden, but then they are all nice in their right.

Chancer, you will probably not believe it, but my first car was a Hillman Hunter, it was a toss up between that or a Mk 2 Cortina. I envied a mate of mine at the time, he had the Hunter with the Holbay racing engine, ****ed all over the rest of us

Jambon, nice couple of cars you have there, I was looking for an older (2004ish) e55 AMG a few years ago, the supercharged one.

RAF Brampton has gone now. It's a new congested housing estate. the sort of thing I don't like.
We are in Huntingdon, moved here 10 years ago, but the area has deteriorated in the last 2-3 years in my opinion. Loads of facilities on your doorstep here for people who don't drive.

I need more parking as we have 4 cars at the moment and one of those has to park in the road. That is one attraction with the house in the link, all that parking in the rear garden. I want to buy a classic American muscle car, but don't want it kept outside. I used to have a 1972 5.7 V8 Pontiac Firebird when I was 22, paid £900 for it, kept it a year then sold it for £2200. Probably be worth about £25,000 now. I have a soft spot for anything with a V8 in it

I'm boring myself looking at houses on Rightmove. We have been trying to move since April last year. We sold our house and found one to buy, then lost our buyer, then lost the house we were buying, then got another buyer but couldn't find a house we liked so we took ours off the market last November.

Hi Chancers, I was a bit nervous with FARN yesterday and I too thought it would come down to be able to re-buy at a lower price, hence selling too early.
.As it was I only risked £5k, but had I put my usual £10k on and sold in the late afternoon I would have made more like £2400.
You never know, it might come down with a bang on Monday, hopefully.
