Yes, one that we never were consulted over, so how do we know it was low ball? I bet it was more than today's mcap, but we'll never know. Let's just hope that if it happens again, it will be put to the shareholders.
"AMC still expected to complete soon in this Q1 2021 from my understanding"
This is the fly in the RNS ointment. Though we have been told of the Dec extension for TEO, yet again he has failed us by not clarifying that as per Nov 2020 statement, they still anticipate by Q1 2021. It's that omission that makes me think he will kick this can all the way to Dec 2021. He could have removed all criticism of this very easily. But he's chosen not to, WHY ?
From RNS November 2020, "Completion of the final sections consisting of the financial analysis of the project and operational plan is anticipated to be Q1 2021 as the generation of the voluminous hard copy documentation is a time intensive task requiring substantial office commitments."
Won't happen, be lucky to see it in by end of yet another year we never get back.
You seem quite certain in your statement, I'm going to hold you to it, oh, at what price ? I really hope you're right and it ends this very strained marriage.
Young will flog this Covid excuse to death, don't expect TEO until December, even though he said it was nearly finished in Sept last year. Give him an inch, jeez.
If memory serves me right and I think we discussed it here a while ago, the Japanese were paying as much as $2000 more per tonne for sulphide derived class 1. I think.
Thanks for that, as with everything it's all about the cost of conversion, as things stand. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that $12 /lb was the break even, but can't remember where. Will nickel stay below $10/lb for the next 2-3 yrs?, I doubt it based on EV uptake. Electric airport flying taxis are nearly with us. Nickel demand is going stratospheric. Will the price ?
TDT, I think he's referring to my posts which are purely my opinion. BTW, I've not always had this opinion of RY. I have supported him for many years, then, well we are where we are.
I will say, I believe Young to be a very good geologist, but a CEO, nah, as CEO, he's a flim flam man at best. A complete fish out of water and utterly out of his depth in dealing with real people.
