This is what I've also read and as we're all in the same boat here I thought there may be others going through the process.

I'm also not 100% convinced by my (very young) accountant's stuttering advice.

Apologies if this has already been discussed...

I bought my shares originally in an ISA. They then got booted into a 'standard' share account when Frontera went private.

I've asked an accountant for help but they say because the shares were bought in an ISA that there is no tax offset available.

Anyone able to confirm this is correct or had similar?

If you could appease an idiot with one last query:

So if for example, we originally bought the shares for say £10k within the ISA wrapper and they then get kicked out (like they did when the company went private) into a 'standard' share account at a value of £6k, then we are able to claim the £6k as capital loss once the company are officially struck off?

I’d also be interested in this.

Especially how it works if we originally bought into a stocks and shares ISA and then the shares got kicked out into a standard account?
