Initially I found that to be rather shocking and disrespectful but maybe its the norm for the industry. Certainly challenging for all concerned and by resuming work many will have the opportunity to empathise with their workmates. Difficult. JJ
Of late the markets have not been kind to bank shares and that's particularly true of Lloyds; however can't help feeling that bank shares will have their day once more and in the next year or two. The increase in rates by the BOE has done its bit for the banks but has done little to dampen inflation. What a crazy world. JJ
Whilst Cyber can irritate me with some of his posts, its generally because I need to do more research to fully appreciate the point(s) he is making. Dismiss him at your peril. Its always better to keep an open mind, all the more so when it comes to considering where to invest your hard earned monies. All the best. JJ
Being back in the FTSE 100 is assured*in the next 12 months and I for one will be happy with that. If it happens sooner then it is a bonus, as is a dividend when that appears.
* assured baring another unnatural disaster crashing our, or the World economy. JJ
Dear Turbot, you do your own research and when you believe in a business you hold/buy and when you lose the faith you might sell. But never sell because you don't like the views expressed on a bb. Investing is for adults and sometimes we make errors but please don't blame a bb for your decision to sell. Good luck with your next investment. JJ
And down the share goes; even if AP gets to see the diamonds there will be conditions attached. Don't think for a moment that they will given up without a fat commission payment, say 50%.
Please get real, the only deal AP is any good at is ripping you off. JJ
The cafes are essential, to an extent they function as loss leaders and are not expected to be profitable. You go in for a coffee and walk through the store, spotting something that you didn't realise you needed and before you know it you've spent an extra £50. One thing I don't understand is that they ought to offer their own ready meals in the cafe(you still pay) but you can try before stocking up the freezer or offering it to guests that are due in the coming weeks. I am sure you get the gist of what I am saying. Some oldies are reluctant to try a new dish but when its on offer in the Cafe they just might. JJ
We can expect sentiment to change in the next 2/3 weeks DYOR. JJ
