Given how long a Disko update is taking I am starting to wonder if they are going to use the same approach as JLB. Find a partner like Anglo America ……get them to drill holes for 70%. Back it up into a shell Nasdaq company and IPO if the results warrant it. Solves those pesky questions of …..how will 80M keep up their 30% share.

Why the ship change ? Confused.

The current position of MIENA DESGAGNES is at North West Atlantic Ocean reported 18 days ago by AIS. The vessel is en route to MORIUSAQ, sailing at a speed of 16.5 knots and expected to arrive there on Oct 8, 06:00. The vessel MIENA DESGAGNES (IMO 9700380, MMSI 316014740) is a General Cargo Ship built in 2017 (8 years old) and currently sailing under the flag of Canada.

I was keeping an eye on the one in the presentation.

Thanks Ashton good background info there. That trump has asked for a paper on his desk 90 days from the Feb date says to me there is an urgency in this. Most likely it’s all in place now and as you say the 5 billion is there and most likely is ringfenced already for certain projects. . Given trumps interest in metals and Greenland it bodes well for Disko I think but maybe also jamieson. Exciting times.

It would be a real bonus if the USA invested in the Greenland Energy IPO along with other friendly countries like Denmark and the EU.

ASHTON in the RNS you refer to of Sept 10th 2025 Rod makes quite an involved statement. Part of this is below.

I was very interested in this part of it. Especially that Uk sources may have been constrained in their outlook. Did you ever find anything that supported what Rod said here ? I have looked about but don’t see anything that ties into this. Any independent verification has for me not been forthcoming. It maybe a one for Mr S again to point in the right direction.

I see the trump administration has finally bought 11 ice breakers from Finland. Getting year round access to the artic regions has long been a thorny one for the USA as without ice breakers you have no chance. He has long bemoaned that China and Russia has a fleet of them but the USA had none.

They are of course the greatest ice breakers in the world.

For those new to 80M they also own Dundas, a huge ilmenite play that is fully permitted and has a multi hundreds of million of tons of material. Years ago they were involved with Rio Tinto and did a Bulk sample for them. The price to get the mine up and running is not at the right commodity price just now but they could sell it or JV it at the right time. I bought in 2017 on the strength of this project. This video gives you an idea of the project. While less exciting than jamieson I think it still has value and Rod has noted in the past that a Dredging operation could be very efficient. Who knows where it will, go but the video is worth a watch. Good luck all.

I was very pleased to hear from him and took what he said as very positive. I agree with your points one and two. Judging by the traffic around my email I am guessing that nurse ratchet was equally pleased with my post and posted an impartial and mentally stimulating piece …..brimming with positivity and support for 80M and ES. If not then it reinforces my choice a year or so ago where I opted for the deprivation of oxygen option (via the filter button) just as the good Dr. ordered. It will never ever be unfiltered. 😀

80M has indeed had proactive conversations regarding our programs with the EU, Denmark and the USA.

As you are aware, we have a MOU with March GL to fund a drilling program on the Jameson Basin, in the coming seasons. In one of the videos that Rod did he waxed lyrical about what it could be worth and noted the sort of money it could throw off may be comparable to the sovereign wealth fund of Norway which is circa 2 trillion dollars (note this took decades to reach). With an estimated 40 plus billion barrels on the whole license, it could be a really high buy out Prudhoe bay style. Hopefully just because Rod has 456 million shares and even a few pennies a share makes him a very rich man, he will know that the sum should not be the numbers we have seen for disposal of some of the projects that they don’t want to develop. Myself I would rather they developed it and we get our cut each year unless we are talking 50p plus a share now on the next year or so (assuming they do hit oil).

Thanks Ashton yes alot going on but it’s always been the case. A sell out of JLB would also be great. Oh dear I did send it to enquiry so probably explains why no answer. I will try to dig out Eric’s email from the site and resend. Good job on the low average. I suppose if it does what it could do ….a penny here or there will make little difference. I aim to retire in 3 years and while I don't need this to do well for a comfortable retirement …..it would for sure make a big difference.
