So, 5 yrs ago sales backlog was $75m which was 5 times the value of the company

Rolls Royce also have issues (happy to be reassured) Tim Clark, Emirates CEO states "Emirates will not by Rolls Royce Trent XWB-97 engines until they are convinced that they are durable" Effectively saying wont be buying Airbus. Wonder what Airbus think of this in relation to extending Rolls Royce sole supplier beyond 2030

I mentioned these 2 stocks as AZ was getting on my nerves re 2024 FY results.

Hopefully they will do very well as RR have something in common with both stocks, especially Airbus.

one thing I would like to see is Airbus and RR extend the agreement where we have a monopoly on A350 engines beyond 2030, that in itself would massively help the share price

My understanding was that you cannot pay tax from your own funds thus you have to sell vested shares.

Has that always been the case or has it recently changed?

Hands up, I sold approximately 15% of my holding (for 610) on Thursday, thinking if it gets away from me I’ll take the profit, but could buy in if it drops.

Obviously I want the stock to fly but on Monday morning I’d like to see it go towards 600 after S&P drop on Friday.

I predicted by end of 2024 a 33% rise to 400 which i would have been very happy with.

well its 575 so what do i know.

reality is I would normally be happy with a 25% rise which would take us circa 720, but this is RR.
