@Bannor,
£3K is for bargain hunting, so many companies trading at lows that many thought they never get to, tell me, is BEM worth a punt at 0.75p - that's a 96% discount from the 18p that was tipped on here a little while back.
So, £120 today would get me the equivalent £3K's worth - still its not certain to be a bargain just yet.
BYD's chairman predicted a month ago that China's monthly NEV penetration rate would exceed 50 percent within this year, and now he expects that figure to be seen within the next three months
Not forgetting BYD are present in Hungary with a new plant also being built, they certainly have the appetite for mass distribution throughout Europe.
Yes,
Without knowing the full facts, if these are samples then perhaps the volume isn't subject to all the regulations of a working mine shifting tens of thousands of tonnes. I'm not sure ore has been transported by road before with the rail link being at Pedra Branca.
Could be the workers preference if they were travelling from Amapa and wanted to complete in a single run without spending a night over. Avoiding the weighbridge as it appears to me, well maybe samples for testing aren't included or subject to any local tax, maybe they did have the necessary paperwork that didn't get through the system to the local municipality.
Could it be if required they were granted permission at state level?
It does seem to me the likelihood is the ore was not processed as would be the requirements for testing and again could it be that its not subject to regulations as virgin ore?
'The mining company would be loading ore with irregular strength'
I'll wait for the company to give their account.
Was that to get the two tonnes?
In addition, the engineering consultants are developing a flowsheet to increase product quality to 67% iron ore concentrate. To report this at a PFS level, PBA will need to send approximately two tonnes of run-of-mine samples to verify the viability of the proposed flowsheet and to finalise capital and operating costs, which, on a preliminary basis, do not appear materially different to those forecast in the PFS.
Well, that would take some explaining if they went through the back door!
@RG33,
I don't believe you would be in that position if the likes of Tesla, Ford or GM took an interest in Sonora instead of now relying on the US gov to fund Thacker Pass to the tune of $2.26bn - you of course remember that Sonora was expected to be producing in 2019 at 17,500 tonnes - that may have been 35,000 tonnes at the peak prices anyone want to calculate how much BCN would be worth if that had been the case.
How many potential off-takers could have taken an interest, not forgetting Hanwa's investment and expectation that they would bring on further companies to fund the project - how many of them are now chomping at the bit to get supply in Mexico.
Ganfeng were ahead of the game when others should have been and would have been producing now, I'm still expecting profit from our lithium interests - Amapa well that's the main interest now that will be the multiplier.
EMH still no off-take announced - could be soon, maybe a buyout;
As far a s Mexico goes it must be costing them not to have production, and if people believe the Chinese gov are turning a blind, I don't agree, there's too much at stake for Ganfeng to walk away.
Ganfeng's ambition is for lithium metal and solid state batteries, Sonora has very high purity lithium - the juniors who are failing are the ones that have lower grades across spodumene that's a fact PREM, CXO low grades low SP - it's not so evident at the moment with LFP - Solid state is the end game:
https://www.marketscreener.com/quote/stock/GANFENG-LITHIUM-GROUP-CO--7844214/news/Ganfeng-Lithium-In-conversation-with-Wang-Xiaoshen-46206361/
The lithium battery industry still has room to develop and improve in terms of the cathode, the anode and the electrolyte. Solid state is definitely one of the future technologies which could be revolutionary. We got into the solid state battery segment because we are trying to build a market for lithium metal. We want to develop this technology and so we need to create demand for lithium metal.
Well, I'm happy to give my pitch, and why I'm still holding, I see 2024 as a historic year in the making for EV's.
Ganfeng are the worlds largest lithium metal producer Mexico would be the ideal location for production, can Mexico really afford to be so far behind?
I wonder if Ganfeng are holding out for the June elections before escalating the dispute in the international courts, the opposition Xóchitl Gálvez could flip things although she's way behind in the polls but the gap has closed slightly.

This implies negotiations are still tacking place, perhaps $2.26bn investment in Thacker pass by the US will make Mexico stand out even further as not having an industry, not forgetting the $1bn - $3bn Ganfeng had on the table.
However, in practice, very little progress has been made to begin producing the soft white metal, since the authorities continue to negotiate with firms that held lithium concessions prior to the 'nationalization' of the industry in April 2022, so they can be returned to the State.
We beg to differ,
Ukraine falls, Orban holds the key to Putin expanding into Hungary, Trump will withdraw from NATO - I dread to think where that will lead - You might have seen both Polish parties have visited the US pleading for funding to Ukraine as have many European house speaker equivalents sent a urgent request
I did watch him speak for an hour and ten minutes last week, the polls reflect his performance - a person with a stutter will often get momentary brain freeze, it's the condition and given his age he is remarkable.
Good end to the week,
Happy has changed his tune with Joe Biden's continued backing for the energy and transport disruption:
just five days ago Happy posted:

How have we got to a chat board of people backing Joe Biden.
The man’s a senile lunatic,
How is he any benefit to Li shares in the EU?
'How have we got to talking about Joe Biden' and then he drops $2.26bn funding - its like a Homer Simpson moment, nice that we agree happy all around, and yes that does show confidence in lithium mining,
Good old 'slow but sure Joe Biden' committed to the policies he was voted in on.
How is he any benefit to Li shares in the EU?
Well Happy didn't elaborate on that, but if GM have secured lithium they have security and pricing that can be priced in for years to come that doesn't have the risks of geopolitics and trade agreements - a LOCAL supply.
@Degsie,
it beggars belief a self confessed high net worth individual is posting on a AIM BB, draw your own conclusions - I think he needs the social side with people engaging with him. I use the filter remedy, don't feed his ego.
They are serious about lithium:

$2.26bn loan!
Evergreen easy 10 bag this year, 2024 we will see mass adoption of EV's, I can see records being broken Q3 onwards. Then some more as the lower costs batteries come online.

Ultra-fast charging from 8 to 80% in just 9 minutes; over 20-year long life battery; 20% lighter cell-to-pack platform. Samsung SDI also unveiled its ultra-fast charging technology that reaches 80% charge from 8% in just 9 minutes, an unprecedented feat in the industry.
Just one of many breakthroughs coming.
@Degsie they will be here past 20p, there's not many certainties but that's one you can count on.
