I would suggest that you tune in the ASX Opening @ 11pm tonight.

I have seen this so many times before, & I would urge ALL investors NOT to get carried away with all the hype.

We will know soon enough whether we have Oil traces - RNS 11th March 2021:
"The Merlin-1 well will initially be drilled to 1,500', then surface casing will be installed and the Blow Out Preventer system tested. This is expected to take approximately one week to execute."

"The well will then be deepened through the target horizons in the Nanushuk Formation to a maximum total depth of 6,000'. Logging while drilling and mudlogging will provide initial indications as to the prospectivity of the well during this part of the operation, which is expected take three to five days. A sophisticated wireline logging suite will then be run, including sidewall cores and downhole sampling. Wireline logging is expected to take five to seven days."

Given the above, we could have news by the end of this week or more likely at the start of the week after. Everything else is just white noise on here. I want to know exactly why DW is leaving, but I guess that we will never know. I would not be totally surprised by a Buy-Out, but that is a 100-1 shot without a Discovery.

I have been worried about DW for a while, ever since his extraordinary reaction to my criticism of 88E's Admin Team. He is no longer the open book that he was. As Ig has just stated, he spends most of his time in sunny Perth, so he is more likely to get sunstroke rather than frostbite.

As i said in my earlier missive, let's see what unfolds in the next few weeks & months. As I understand it, Ashley Gilbert is taking over the reins, however he is an Accountant and not a leader. I suspect that there will be a new man/woman at the helm, depending on how this plays out.
