When asked if she was surprised by the growth results today she said we are working very closely with businesses and there’s a lot of investment going in at the moment and they will be setting out in the spending review the governments spending plans including on infrastructure and energy projects.

She also said the government wants to work with businesses and to help great British companies to export around the world.

All sounds very positive but does anyone know when we will hear anything about this spending review?

Based only on the timing of the director buys I’m not expecting news until the middle of the first week of June.

But won’t be surprised if something drops before then.

Whenever it comes, let’s just hope it’s big and the first of many.

Hopefully the momentum of the last week or so continues and the starting point for a rise on news is higher than it is at the moment. Anything above 20p before news announcement would be very welcome. But the higher the better.

Did anyone hear Trump saying last week go out and buy stocks?

People criticising his tariff policies but the markets are all starting to show signs of recovery and US now done deals with UK and China.

If the Ukraine conflict can be resolved without conceding too much ground to Putin then we really could have grounds for optimism in the markets as a whole.

AFC hopefully just weeks rather than months away from announcing big news of which we are expecting one or more or all of the following

Government funding

Cracker partner or partners

Hydrogen fuel system installation at major site

Reduction in manufacturing costs

Any one of these things should significantly increase the AFC shareprice and more than one or all of the above and I just can’t begin to imagine how the shareprice will react, it won’t just be a case of it going up, it will be how far it goes up.

And who knows what else is being discussed right now.

Definitely much to be optimistic and excited about going forward.

It’s been a weird kind of day.

Maybe many people just waiting for news. That could still be a few weeks away but hopefully worth the wait

Surely a matter of time now until this technology is released to the World.
