The news we’re waiting for that could launch the shareprice is cracker partner announcements and these discussions are ongoing according to information discussed yesterday.

If a company like BP becomes a cracker partner and chucks millions of pounds at the project the sp of today will be a distant memory.

I was expecting an announcement of cracker partners in October but nothing as yet, I wonder if it could be late January now so that the new ceo can sign it off.

Anyway, it’s my son’s birthday today and we’re having some family round for a buffet and cake. My mother in law is waiting for an ambulance as she thinks she’s having a heart attack and I just can’t be bothered with mindless squabbling today so I’m off for the day.

This is why I felt it was important for AFC not to announce any major news until we knew the outcome of this and of course the Uk budget.

AFC seems happy with the budget so that’s one box ticked.

And now that we know the result of the US election AFC can work on the plans outside of the UK and absolutely 100% the Middle East now looks very appealing, certainly in the short term until we see how things unfold in Uk US relations going forward.

One thing to add to the mix is Trumps relationship with Nigel Farage. I have no idea how that would unfold or could eventually have and significance in UK politics but it certainly might be worth keeping an eye on it.

Looks like Trump going to win the US election.

Renewable energy has started to evolve but not sure how much support will be forthcoming from a Trump administration.

This is why the US election was important for all business.

If, as it’s looking now, Trump wins. It will not stop companies like AFC from moving forward but they will move forward despite him and not because of his support.

Once the dust settles and we move into 4 years of Trump chaos on the world stage we (AFC) must focus on our own goals and continue to grow and move forward in the best interests of the company.

I remember thinking October was the timeframe but I’m sure the decision makers are all just waiting to see what happens across the pond now.

They know where they are after the UK budget and seem fairly happy about that but what happens in this election in America is going to have repercussions around the world. Good or bad I certainly have no idea and don’t know of anyone else who does but it is important.

As I said once the dust settles we can move on and hopefully that massive cracker partner or partners will start to show themselves.

Well we’re almost there. US election today.

As I’ve been saying for weeks and even Aid finally agrees the world is holding its collective breath.

No one can say in any honesty that the UK budget (which got a mention in yesterday’s AFC update) and the US election have not been massive factors for decision makers.

I’m sure everyone will be glad when it’s over with and we can all move on and work with what we get. Sometimes fear of the unknown can be worse than the actual outcome but let’s wait and see. Not long now “hopefully”

If Trump loses (fingers crossed) and actually accepts the result we can perhaps look forward to cop 29 with some optimism and “perhaps” some announcements from AFC in the Middle East.

The thing I’m most excited about and hope for news on very soon is news on cracker partners.

And before my regular stalker who is obsessed by me jumps in with more ridiculous insults and tries to undermine my opinion let me just say that’s all it is, my opinion.

But as an AFC shareholder for around 12 years I think I am entitled to my opinion whether the people with dubious agendas agree or not.
