You are asking me to sell my soul, twitter is the most vile place to visit. Its mostly full of hateful, demented, thick people who just blame everyone else for their problems. I know there are some good people on there its just that they get dragged down with the rest..

Analysts have been predicting $100 for over a year now and I'm sure one day they will get it right..

For those of us who are not on twitter im guessing its someone saying Oil prices are going to rise next year !!!

RnP..Yep..After the crash 10 years ago Governments didnt hold the purse strings they just pumped money back into the banks and the markets, throw in the casino like AIM markets, Boiler rooms n BBs and 20%+ on a spud was the norm. Obviously after lots of newbies ended up getting spiked and throw in 30% of companies on AIM going tits up after 1 year it was a recipe for disaster. Those were the days where most of us learned our lessons in the market.

Gone are the days when you got +40% rises on Spuds..

The ASX keeps some funny hours and ive been caught out before, the other side of OZ is waking up and will get to the markets a bit later. CVN has got other projects on the go as well so tho the Spud is huge news for ADV investors at CVN tho welcoming the news is a bit warmer.
SP now moving a touch down under +1.45%.. Lets see how it plays out.. AIM 2moro should be a different beast.

I didnt take it as being argumentative at all and btw the ASX will close early today so its only a 4 1/2 trading day..
I trade Currencies and Options so im always aware of markets opening n closing times as spread prices will fluctuate around these times.. You have to take into consideration GMT daylight savings etc.. Also the ASX website helps with a big giant countdown clock telling you its been open for the last 30mins :-)

7am to 10am is pre open..
ASX is a strange beast but it is open.

You can be as pedantic as you want but the market opens at 10am which isnt pre market mode..

Sites like hotcopper, LSE and others are delayed by 15 to 20 mins.. IG index are spot on.. It opened in Auction -4% but quickly went flat.. Still early days..

Its open mate, 11pm UK time 10am Sydney..

CVN opened flat :-)

@pj ASX announcements kick off 8.30pm UK.. They are generally slow to start but pick up closer to market open..

Nice close +4%

I would hazard a guess that we will start 2022 drilling for oil.. aimho
