The way I see it is that these remittance channels can only be positive for MYSQ's growth and earnings potential. Imagine if something like this wasn't being put into place? Most of us would be whining on about it. No point in knocking anything positive we're implementing if you ask me. I think it'll be great for MYSQ, especially when other remittance channels are opened e.g. Malaysia, the Middle East etc. Chong is working very hard in the background making this happen. Give them the time they deserve to implement it and I'm fairly certain we won't have much to moan about when the money starts to pour in.

OK but don't come on here and moan and groan if we experience any unforeseen complications at the drillbit or worse still duster(s).
We can sell based on completed seismic results, GSA in hand, a future drilling plan ready for the buyer(s) to forge ahead with and all of the sensitive political issues ironed out. We'd still derive a handsome offer with none of the risk and never you forget that!

We would be asked to vote on whether we accept the offer price. Assuming we do accept the offer, a one-off dividend usually gets paid into your account - whether that be an ISA, SIPP or Trading Account - basically wherever your SOU shares reside.

Of course, we don't know the details of what the LE will look like, as there may be a few sweeteners related to future proving-up of TCF's. There may even be a share buy back on offer. We just don't know until it lands. Whatever the deal is, I'm sure it will make for enjoyable reading and people can choose to do what they see fit. I personally would like to see a nice, clean, simple sale of our assets for x pounds per share and am not fussed about any future reward. I like many, just want my money back to allow me to spend it on some more investments - possibly ECHO and CORO!

I like your analogy there Goldminer. It's good to know we won't be the only "dog" who has entered space when the blue touch paper is final lit! There is hope for us yet then?! Hehe...

I also agree there are similarities between MYSQ and MOMO and we certianly do have the potential to become the next MOMO or even bigger than them given our user base. We just need some time to grow and develop and eventually flourish.

Things should start hotting-up next week as we edge ever closer to the juicy news releases. Hopefully Eric will reward our patience. God knows we have been waiting for a while this year for something company chnaging / making to cheer about.

I would like to see Eric revisit the UK. Last time around was a bit of a hurried affair and I believe that on the back of company changing news, an Investor Evening back in London would be great. It's time to start bragging about MYSQ rather than hiding away and not engaging with his PI's. We need to feel the love and we are ready to love him back. Just give us something worthy of love is what I am trying to say!!

I see you also agree with my thinking. That there could well be a LE without us having to be responsible for the forthcoming drills. Yes, the share would effectively go into suspension and in the RNS the details of the offer and offer price would be outlined with a recommendation from JP to accept the offer.

I see you too have picked-up on the quote by JP that I alluded to in one of my posts: the fact that if JP is doing his job right, PI's would be the last ones to know about the LE.

Well the wool hsn't been pulled over my eyes. Right now, there seems to be as much of a chance that we won't be responsible for another drill as much as us forging ahead with a 3 drill programme if you ask my opinion. The slippage in timescale has been deliberate and well orchestrated to allow JP and the Team to bash out a deal.

I could be totally wrong, but on the same token, I could be totally right with my assumptions. You choose which side of the fence you sit on.

The share price at present is best described as 'emotional litmus paper'. It bobs and weaves based on people's feelgood factor. Any savvy investor will see / look beyond this and will wait for the LE / end game for the real prize and as I said, we are drawing ever close to it. Without wishing time away, these weeks / months are ticking by ever so fast and before you know it, the RNS we have all been patiently waiting for will land in our laps.

I don't think we have anything to be afraid of, so this weekend I am hoping that people who are feeling down by the current status quo should dust themselves down and remind themselves of the bigger picture. Don't let the daily share price fluctuations blind you from what is really happening - in some cases, right in front of your eyes.

Put it this way, the way I see things is that there is very little, even zero risk in selling a company with compelling seismic results, world-class assets and what will very soon be a GSA in hand. The risk only comes into play when we start poking our rusty drill bit into the ground.

I say, sell the company based on completed seismic results and a signed GSA in hand with a future map already laid out, which is exactly what is happening in front of our eyes and referenced in the last few RNS's for all to see.

And I dare to say that I don't think there will be one investor who won't like our offer price. Deal making is in JP's DNA. He once told us this and I 100% believe him. I also believe we will see our "many, many multiples" based on what we have already proved up and what we are handing on to the would-be buyer(s).

I don't do complicated. I like simple, transparent deals and there is absolutely no need to complicate the selling-off of SOU. And people should also remember that today's share price has no or little bearing on the LE. If you haven't worked out by now that it is the amount of shares you own rather than the price of them that is the most important factor then I can't help you.

Everybody stop feeling down and depressed. Let's remember why we all first invested here and let's focus our attention on standing beside JP and the team to deliver the "end game". What the BOD needs now from us is patience, faith and a real belief that we will have our "dreams in the desert."

I am not phased by the day-to-day share price movements whatsoever. They bear no resemblance to what the LE share price will be anyway. JP has yet again mentioned this to us time and time again. He is not fussed by the day-to-day movements and you shouldn't be either!

We are ever so close to the LE now and let's enjoy the remaining time as Sounders. I promise you that you'll look back in time next year and wonder what all the fuss was about as you sip your champers at some exotic location, or are behind the wheel of your dream car with a giant smile on your face.

That's all I have to say about things right now. I'm off for a 2 mile swim. Chillax people and enjoy the ride!

If you think three dimensionally about the current situation, it does in many ways point towards an early LE. When I say "early" there is no intention that we are rushing things through or bailing before the big prize is realised. Early in this case points towards the LE happening a lot sooner than most PI's believe i.e. end of this year and at the very latest, Jan 2019. And if JP feels as though with completed seismics and a GSA in hand is enough to deliver us a decent enough offer, which incidentally I believe is true, then why not forge ahead with a LE? And by the way.....the offer price IMO won't be too shabby and JP wouldn't put it to us to vote on if he thought it be get a resounding "no thanks". This Christmas may just be one to remember.

All I really think that JP wanted to do was to shoot the seismics and get the GSA in hand with a decent price.
We can then sell the company off for a very handsome price without even having to poke the drill bit in the ground again. Simples. Put it this way, that's what I'd personally be doing. Wrap things up and get it all done and dusted by late 2018 / early 2019. Why put anybody through more pain? There's just no point.

Many of you have failed to comprehend the subtleties of the current situation and IMO the purposeful slippage in timescales. I still maintain that it is plausible that we will never poke the drill bit into the ground again and that an early LE could happen before or around this Chistmas. The rig is being positioned at TE-9 but ask yourselves who owns the rig? It's SLB and I reckon that it is SLB that will end-up buying our share of our assets. It could even end up under state control with SLB as the operator. I say this because I recall what JP mentioned at a presentation last year. Think it was the Bristol one if my memory serves me correct. He said something along the lines of, "PI's will be the last ones to know / learn of the LE if I have done my job right..." I remember thinking that it sounded a tad arrogant of JP to use these words to convey the LE timing, but if you think about it....what is currently happening today and what appears to be happening in the background is a well crafted plan to hand over our assets to one of the "big boys", which I have already alluded to in this message. He has also commented on numerous occasions that SOU is not a producer but is rather an explorer. Yes, he wants to do right by the asset and prove up as many TCF's as he can, but I have an inclination that the drill campaign won't be under the guise of SOU. JP may have even worked out a deal with the "buyer(s)" that rewards we PI's for every TCF confirmed across the next 3 drills.

Yes, there are a whole load of themes and variations based on what I am suggesting but in layman's terms, all I am really attempting to say is that the LE could come a lot earlier than most of you are led to believe and many of you will be shocked by its timing.

Maybe this slippage in timing is because a deal is being negotiated and finalised now. I would be very surprised if JP and the rest of the team want to drag this on for much longer anyway. JP and the rest of the team have plenty going on for them once SOU is wrapped-up and I suspect JP will be busily engaged with both ECHO and CORO.

All I am saying is, don't believe there will be a drilling campaign by SOU just because you have been told there is one. A day seems a long time at SOU at the moment and JP knows the risk Vs reward aspect here at the moment. One sniff of failure at the pump and it's a rocky road ahead. They have already acknowledged that they aren't expecting all 3 drills to come in should they of course go ahead with the drilling campaign. They of course have to continue with business as usual before the LE details are finalised anyway. They can't just stop business proceedings and of course have to forge ahead with their strategy. The buyer would want to see this anyway in the knowledge that progress is being made.

Some of you may completely disagree with what I am saying but all I am attempting to do is to take the blinkers off some of you who are feeling low and depressed. GLA.

I'm not sure what tea leaves you are consulting each day, but from where I am standing the news is just around the corner and it should be positive enough to jettison this ailing share price in the right direction again.

I have made my sentiments regarding Eric very clear - even when the share price was doing well. It is up to him to steady the ship, restore confidence and deliver the results we have been so patiently waiting for this summer. This has been a long, arduous summer for MYSQ'ers and hopefully the conclusion to 2018 will be worth the short term pain.

The more it gets used, the more we fill our coffers, so a little introductory offer isn't a bad thing. People who will use the service will tell others about it and in turn they will tell their friends etc. This will all be backed-up by a very visible marketing/ PR plan too, which has already been alluded to by Eric and Chong.

Very, very nearly bought a couple of grand more at 1.09 but didn't press the 'buy' button. May live to regret that choice!
