Just to advise that I have e-mailed Jeremy Vine this morning as a follow up to the discussion on his show yesterday and that of a few weeks ago regarding VRFBs and Lithium battery fire risks. I mentioned that the California Energy Commission are funding VRFB projects and that they are tellingly discounting Lithium ion from their plans. Hopefully this may promote further discussion on his show - any further exposure of the risks that Lithium batteries pose and the benefits that VRFBs provide would be welcomed especially given that Boris is heavily promoting green energy solutions.
Pdub, I have been invested in BMN for 3 years now and have 1.1m shares. I do not post here very often but read the board every day. I have never been been more confident of BMN to become a very successful company and for me yesterdays news is the thin edge of a very big wedge for VRFB uptake. The company has a strategy and it is satisfying to see that strategy being implemented step by step.
On a personal note I wish you well with your current health issues, you sound like someone who does not give up. Good on you sir.
Numpty, an interesting synopsis sir. Given all the 'good news' coming to the fore recently may have suggested that BMN would have been pushing to get the JSE listing done as quickly as possible in that case rather than push it back. But there may be good reason for the current approach. All will be revealed in time.
Hi RK.
I read this board every day. I came across BMN by chance. A work colleague had been looking into them and suggested I take a look too. I am not a regular investor but had been thinking about investing into renewables given current global circumstances. My search led me to this board and then The Bushveld Perspective. The broad base of knowledge available on these has given me the confidence to invest and I now have a decent holding here. I started to invest about two and half years ago and was particularly attracted to the VRFB side of the business given that Governments around the world are under pressure to reduce carbon emissions. It all just seems to make sense to me that batteries will be a significant contributor to a global solution by harnessing wind and solar energy. Seeing BMNs strategy to build a fully integrated business unfolding in front of our eyes is truly exciting and very impressive. I was fortunate to stumble across BMN but, like others on here, can see the potential that this company has.
Worzel7,
I purchased 150,000 yesterday in two tranches at an average of 3.11p. Have been keeping an eye on this for a while as I am also in BMN. Tin prices look they may be recovering a bit and the long term view looks promising in my opinion. I may add more if funds allow.
Good luck with your investment
Endion. I am not a regular investor and had a bad experience with one a few years ago. I vowed to not get involved again. However, a colleague at work said he had been pointed in the direction of BMN so I helped him do some research. I liked what I saw and saw it as an opportunity to get back what I had lost previously. Anyway, as I have got more into the Vanadium and renewable energy story, coupled with the fantastic knowledge and resources that exist via this board, I has gained the courage to invest more and more. To me BMN is a compelling story and I believe I have been fortunate to stumble across it at the right time.
