The Important part...
DUBAI, Aug 9 (Reuters) - United Arab Emirates energy firm Dana Gas (DANA.AD) said on Wednesday it had received $80 million from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in Iraq, which for over a decade has sometimes struggled to make payments on time.
Pearl Petroleum, a consortium majority-owned by Dana, "recently" received $101 million from the KRG "despite the ongoing challenges within Iraq and is in ongoing discussions with the KRG to settle outstanding receivables as soon as possible," Dana Gas said in a statement on its first-half results
Oh and just like that...
Very interesting!
Well done for this RNS.
I'm still thinking something is much larger than the sum of all our parts.
Anyway, keeps us in the game and let's keep the pressure on for owed payments.
The only noticeable change has been a new NED in the last 6 weeks...
Are we about to be taken for a very lowball offer...
That's a lot of volume on the back of readily known news?
And pesky MMs? I don;t know what's going on.
Praying this is good news coming down the pipeline...
Wow did I miss something?
Waffen most probably bought at old 11p money...:)
Agreed with the fact these players don't just pop along for a coffee and cake.
Are we any closer to any conclusion...
This is certainly a test of patience!
Quick poll will we this be a bad dream this time next month? And will we prosper and finally get those legs out...
"ERBIL — Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is set to visit Iraq to discuss the resumption of oil exports from the Kurdistan Region, according to Kurdish acting Minister of Natural Resources Kamal Mohammed Salih.
Speaking to Kurdistan 24 on Monday, Salih noted that the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has signed a contract with the Iraqi Oil Ministry and SOMO, the state oil marketing company, in preparation for Erdogan's visit to Iraq. The visit is expected to pave the way for resolving the issue of oil exports.
However, the specific date of the visit was not clearly mentioned in the Kurdish official's remarks.
Addressing the progress on the oil and gas bill, Salih said that 70% of the work has been completed. A delegation from the KRG will soon travel to Baghdad to further discuss the bill.
On Thursday, Iraqi Oil Minister Hayyan Abdul Ghani announced that Turkish authorities had been notified to resume oil exports through the port of Ceyhan starting from May 13.
The suspension of oil exports from the Kurdistan Region and Kirkuk was initiated on March 25, 2023, following a decision by the International Court of Arbitration in Paris. However, on April 4, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani and his Kurdish counterpart Masrour Barzani signed an agreement in Baghdad to resume oil exports from the Kurdistan Region.
The upcoming visit of President Erdogan holds significant importance in the efforts to resume oil exports and strengthen the economic ties between Turkey and the Kurdistan Region."

That's your reason.
Plus it's still down over a quid and has gone up 6p.
We're hardly breaking records. Go and enjoy the sun.
I can't understand your reaction.
You cry like a little girl when it slumps and cry like a little girl when it goes up?
What gives? :)
Apart form Genl...
Who have another place to drill but nothing to contribute to their revenue streams.
So that's 2/3 partners focused in Kurdistan. FYI.
Quid
Now come and release the RNS...
Then I can spend the afternoon watching this go up a quick an hour.
I'm going to walk to the pub.
Let's hope we have seriously made it towards the last leg.
As we totally deserve it...that's 100% Sure.
Cheers Ladies and Gents :)
I keep refreshing to see if my connection speed is taking an extra 1 off..
134...not 1134.
I'm not sure many AIM companies distributed $400million Divis?
We know this is always the case. I'm surprised at the shock.
Always some who can't even do the basics.
Keep quiet please.
I wanted to round up my shares. :)
