Quite right Muck; 50k @ 9.91 was a buy.

As the end of the tax year approaches I was hoping to offset some of my losses here against gains made elsewhere. No such luck (so far). To-day I checked HMRC's negligible value list and we are not there under "W". I don't often visit you here nowadays but once enjoyed news from the allotment or polytunnel (Rhubarb is showing trough here in the West Midlands). My regards to the regular posters, Jeb.

Odd indeed ! The 3k trade just before noon was a buy so maybe all the previous ones should be blue too. Could someone be trying to hide the true picture ?

HMRC do publish a list of eligible "negligible value" Co's but it may be a while before WRES get on it. An earlier poster commented that Administrators tend to drag the process out to drain every last penny into their own pockets ! My own loss on CLN became a useful offset against other gains with no difficulty from the tax man: here we go again. Jeb.

Cheer up Ken, you are maybe clear of CGT. I too went early but only to top slice and use up my CGT allowance. When the hot money moves on we may both have a chance to get back in.

@F-T; IES has the legacy of the Red T footprint (for good or ill) in a "safe" jurisdiction. That weighs heavy for the over-cautious or lazy unwilling to look as deep as we are able to do here. It will probably drift down nearer the 175 placing price before short termers send it briefly up again. We are on firmer ground here. Jeb.

A bid looks possible, those two 1K buys and the 2k sell should not have left us up even in this thin market. Like you Pic I'm 100's% up since I bought in following a tip from FT's John (Lord) Lee several years back. He always researched thoroughly meeting with board members etc. He thought this niche market leader to be well insulated from any global downturn if I remember correctly. Nice timing for someone. My other Lee tip buys have all been taken over very profitably. Thanks M'Lud.

Hi Oldie, peaches much the same in the Midlands too, lucky to eat half a dozen, the rest unripe to fallen off in a few days. Even the good ones get split stones with earwigs inside. Spray early on but still loads of pretty curly leaves which I usually pick off and bin. Not so bad this year but no sign of fruit set either. Weather ! Good luck to everyone here. Jeb.

Hi OMR, I had an op called turps (T.U.R.P.S.). Five days in hospital passing vin rouge then vin rose' finally vin blanc when they let me out. Still OK'ish 20 years later.
