Alba announces they will own 50%+1 share (minimum) of Greenco, IF all shareholders were to be automatically granted 50% of Greenco some wonderful things could happen.
Say I just bought £10k worth of Alba shares, and Alba's mcap is currently 16.86m, (10,000/16,860,000 *100) would result in myself now having roughly a 0.06% ownership of Alba's shares.
If all Alba shareholders were to be granted shares in Greenco, then (from this morning's RNS), 50% of Greenco would be £6million. Therefore my 0.06% ownership of Alba would result in myself having a 0.03% ownership in Greenco.
This could mean that all of a sudden, £3,600 worth of Greenco shares could pop into my account. Causing a surge of demand for Alba's shares before the IPO of Greenco.
Please does anyone have more thoughts regarding this?
