My guess is there are still warrants washing through that need to clear before it starts to tick up, or it just needs the build etc to start to gather some momentum.

The thing is, surely the process for organising the private placement was underway already when he made the comments, so it just seems a silly thing to have said. I definitely bought more off the back of the debt comments, though. However, it's not at a massive discount to the current SP and also, as Sarnia says, debt deals can be rubbish, particularly for a pre-revenue miner, so it may have been the better option in the circumstances.

Agreed, I think we see a further drop from here, but I would like to be wrong, the price action has allowed a chance to average down anyway, so no complaints here!

I was a bit shocked to see this, having sat on the webinar last week and hearing that, but at least the deal isn't on the worst terms and gets the funding question out of the day.

Mario indicated a ballpark AISC of $1500 for Anadacollo and $1800 for Indiana during the webinar yesterday - very speculative numbers though, so take with a pinch of salt!

It went up shortly after the presentation that Mario did - interesting nugget from was that once Andacollo is secured his plan is to fund via debt rather than equity.

Thanks, Rouley, reading it again, I see exactly where you are coming from. Think the notes could have been used more effectively to explain that for the average Joe. Makes far more sense, though, particularly at a time when they are not cash-rich. Having just tidied up after a period where the old directors seemed to have been given far too many shares to poorly run the ship, I was a touch worried that history was repeating itself. They may have exit agreements in place, but certainly do not deserve them, but better to clean it all up and get them away from it.

I really appreciate everyone's input on this - feel more comfortable as a result, but will continue to research.

Beyondthesea, thanks, I can see what you're saying. I just wonder how plausible debt is, as they aren't producing anything yet and don't really have any cash to pay any debt down- obviously Sibanye's involvement may well help sort this and offtakes for gold and uranium could indeed support this.

I'd like to add more, but tentative as they have been open about their cash position.

I bought in here recently and like the look of the asset & potential news flow. I was just reviewing the AGM resolutions, though, and the potential dilution here is a little worrying. It looks like massive share awards for the CEO & CFO (No doubt they have managed the company through a difficult spot after being poorly run over the prior years), but also seem to be able to issue a huge number of shares. I may be reading it wrong, but it looks like it could be up to 66% of the current issued share capital. Totally understandable, they will need to dilute to a) satisfy the Sibanye deal, b) get everything to production as they are a pre-production mining company, but that seems a huge number of shares. We would really need to see a substantially increased SP to make it really worthwhile.

Hopefully not as he holds 10% of the shares in the company, so if he is selling down, then the price could be held back for ages.

Just reading up on the company and looks a really promising company/assets.

Noted the outgoing NED's own about 39% of the company's stock based on the shareholder information presentation. What impact do we think their leaving has? Now that they are no longer inside, can they sell down? Looks potentially mad if they were too based on the potential though.

Hello all, I am looking at investing in Galantas but struggling to confirm the number of shares each director holds.

On their website, they state management owns 35% of the stock on the investors page. Is this mainly in the TSX-V? If so, does anyone have sight of how many each has and whether the 35% is accurate? Sharescope doesn't show much for the AIM listing.

Have also had similar in the last couple of days - the speed it came, I suspect it was an auto responder. I did follow up, asking further questions.
