I’m with HL currently and couldn’t get any price to buy for a couple of hours.

I would like to top up existing holding as I believe stars could truly align for this and see 100/200% based on the crazy low market cap.

My only thinking is that will likely report at the end of the mth so unsure whether there will be a run to earnings or some downward pressure in anticipation of a blowout quarter

Agree with you here, looking at 3000 entry but will see how it plays out over next couple of days. Happy even at this level. May just do 2 tranches in case of further downward pressure

Thanks Canaries for the response. The only thing puts me off IG is their overall Customer Service. An example is that I hold some Santander shares through them and they were doing some kind of stock dividend and issued rights for which I had to take up. Took me ages to get to through, had no email etc then and on 2 occasions promised call backs/emails, received absolutely nothing. Every time I call HL they have staff that generally know what they 're talking about and platform is user friendly but you pay that premium I guess. Thanks tho, will look into it

Looked into this company, can't believe its been beaten up as much as it has. Took at a position at 250 (happy to top up if it retraces) and will hold for 12+ mths. Growth potential once world economies begin recovery. Good luck to all and hope everyone can realise 100% gains from here on in near term

Well done roofer, I also picked up in the 170’s, happy to hold however for dividends. Don’t get me wrong if double last or gets close to 300 then may consider selling. If it drops back to 170s than will big agin

I sold yesterday and kind of felt sad but I was lucky enough to get in low and my rule of thumb is anything that returns 100% in short space of time then sell. But as I say I think will continue to rise and be a great company. Of course if there is a retracement I will no doubt be back in.

Exactly, I think they would be doing the right thing here. Sends a a message to the Gov too. Yes the share price will fall on Monday but UK isn’t the game changer for Cine but I believe that MMs will take full advantage of this article on Monday. I believe it’s positive especially if blockbuster films are being delayed.

I also hold my CAI shareholding with HL, however, they have confirmed when I want to pull the trigger they are now tradable through their phone dealing service. The charges are very excessive. Also, you can't buy only sell. Ive also got that on an email if you want me to copy/paste it in here

Brought in today at 120p. Prior to Covid a fundamentally sound business. Wont sell until min 250p or 1.5b-2b market cap.

I guess you can look at these events in 2 ways;
1. A once in a decade opportunity to pick up shares of certain companies and in 1 or 2 years you will kicking yourself saying I should have interested more OR;
2. There will be a complete collaspe of the financial markets and we will lose all our money

At the moment, I am looking 1 (but will never rule out aka Great Depression style type events)

No worries bud, yeah that is definitely a possibility. It never crossed my mind to invest in Cineworld but the risk reward is very appealing at these levels. Based on my personal projections my exit would be when this hits 1b-1.5b market cap
