This isn’t an easy one to get right - I see it as having IP, cash and all being well the start of a commercial business. The valuation includes sentiment and that includes some that fundamentally don’t want green. It’s a tricky one as so many places in the world depend on oil for their prosperity and survival. What would those countries do instead I wonder. In fact with more technology used what will people do for jobs. I’m no expert on any of this just thinking aloud but it is a tricky situation. Personally I hope the trading announcement has been delayed to include an announcement of more deals which will relieve some of my regret at not doing a quick switch into CBG on Friday. To answer the person below yes - some of the western media is corrupt along with some of the politicians, lawmakers, regulators, doctors and various others.

Found it quite interesting reading an article dated January 2013 - Amec buys Foster Wheeler for 1.9 billion - paid for with a mix of cash and shares - followed in 2017 by what looks more like an all share merger between Wood and Amec that valued the larger Amec at 2.3 billion. Appreciate there’ll be debt and disposals.

Hi Neil re; the corruption - regarding stocks/shares I’ve had unwarranted contact as a retail investor to sell stock directly by a market maker whilst a customer of IG index. The stock was De La Rue which roughly doubled maybe tripled a couple of days later. I’ve know of a market maker ringing up a guy in a stockbrokers and threaten to not deal with him again - no trade unless he let them have the stock back. Other issues - companies denying any records.

More generally I’ve had accounts, records, jobs, pretty much every part of my life interfered with. I’ve had old phone contracts with previous phone companies miraculously come back to life years later. I’ve been blocked from using Facebook, instagram etc which I just used to post photos of my dog, places and music. I’ve had difficulties with Netflix all sorts of big companies. More recently and I know services are busy but I’ve had prolonged difficulties with medical treatment leaving me at times , like yesterday struggling to walk. The list could go on. All real.

The system is corrupt it was designed that way. We need the world to unite the countries we are told are our enemies or not good depending Russia, Ukraine, China, North Korea, along with Africa, South America and everybody else to be part of a United Nations with new global bodies to oversee such things as the internet. That’s my view, the rest is my experience.

I also know from experience just how personal some market makers can be and some organisations. The corruption is staggering really is.

Yes surprised about the price then I wish I’d bought some more but missed that. The market makers / institutions seem to walk a lot of prices up these days as seen with Ocado recently and others. Previously it seems more went up in one go, might be wrong but it seems that way.

Hi just to be clear I don’t think OSG will be insider trading, I doubt he is even day trading and he won’t be shorting. I do believe the system is fundamentally corrupt however and some conflicts engineered.

I was wondering whether the auditors might be found guilty but really they’re relying on the information provided by the directors so it’s the fiduciary thing as people seem to be saying. Fining the company would be like criticising a patient for being ill who made ill by a dodgy doctor’s treatment. The FCA announcement and timing stinks. There’s a lot of corruption and I have been trying to make sense of things so amongst other things I’ve opened an X account same username.

Quite quiet and I wonder where on solid ground has gone. On a separate note 🎵 I’ve set up an X account to try and make sense of some of my own experiences and the corruption going down. Same username. Good luck everybody.

I’ve always thought most of the internet was out there but good to hear. Transparency international produce a newsletter if you are interested.

If a few people don’t want something or even somebody to do well they can bet against them. Not nice. Global issues global solutions for a more United world.

Personally I don’t know so much about this maybe a long term thing but when you see the floods almost every few weeks somewhere in the world being impacted today Spain I think things are urgent.

Interesting and hopefully things will improve.
