Do you think they already have an order for SMT? We know OEM's have been testing it since last year. All the things you would associate with an SMT order are being put in place. Staff, logistics, machines, partnerships, IP. The timeframe given by Lars is around now. Confirmation RNS is needed.
News is due. I think the last really positive news was the chip foundry design win in August? We had a steady stream of design wins and partnerships from March to August last year. I don't think progress has stopped.
If the situation in the Gulf continues the knock on effects will be huge. I think it effects nearly every industry. Fuel/power costs will rise. I suppose you could say that renewables will be the long term winners from this. I think GC and Schurter think long term and are well positioned in the energy transistion. Someone mentioned the Skeleton and Siemens partnership and I think it is easy to imagine our collaboration with Schurter leading to some big opportunities. Skeleton grew really fast, I think they are based out of Estonia?
SMT and binder are ready to go. Machinery, logistics, sales people, partnerships, training, engineer hires, stock, test samples, feedback..all done. RNS will be soon.
I keep saying this. DH became the major shareholder post news on the design win. He was also buying large amounts post results in November and December. He sold LST in September? and bought here. He was a major shareholder over there with GC. Are you telling me he would take 15% knowing less than us? Makes no sense. If he was selling I agree it would be a disaster. We all await more information, that hasn't been forthcoming. I share the frustration. DH was out in Seven Hills last year with Lars and GC? Surely he has credible insights into progress.
With what is happening in the Gulf and its knock on effects, this is interesting.
'Synthetic graphite, a key component in lithium-ion battery anodes, is primarily produced from petroleum coke—a by-product of oil refining. The production process involves high-temperature treatment of petroleum coke, making it a critical link between fossil fuels and battery manufacturing.'
I think LST will do well from here. Last raise and it is for a decent acquisition. I think I will be buying some soon. I assume DH knew what was happening over there and knows what is happening over here.
