There is also the lack of bureaucratical competence. I worked in an industry where nepotism was rife, and some people in key positions are just not up to the job. only got it because their wife's husband works in the same dept. Also, lack of experience and training can lead to a big mistake being made.. ie.. the whole cancelled tender malarky.. seems like we are getting somewhere now though..fingers crossed.
Silent long time holders, generally keep quiet because the inane arguments and bickering on these boards is completely irrelevant to whether we buy or sell. The fundamentals of this company and a base belief that tony can deliver the goods is what has kept me here over the years (5 now). Even managed to average down my price to 6p , with the placings and a decent buy in at 3p.When we get back into profits, then it will be time to start shouting.. 'WHO WANTS A DRINK'
LTH here.. also believe patience will be rewarded soon enough.
Thanks for that chukkers. I apologise if I took it the wrong way. It's hard to pick up the nuances of jokes and sarcasm on the net.
Jeez chukkers. Way to shoot a guy. If your so down on this share why are you here?
I bought these as a long term investment.. still looks good to me. Most companies on this market are just lifestyle jockeys sucking the money out..ie...Angus energy.. or they fail within a few years.. tlou is still here.. still got low shares in issue..got assets.. if your looking for get rich quick.. try the lottery.
I remember Tidd too, and bought in for a good wad about 4 yrs ago and got a 6.5 average... also held tight when they were 17p thinking we had the contract in the bag. we all know how that went..however, the fundamentals here are still good and Tidd did not steer us wrong on that account. gave plenty of technical info and links to see for yourself..i made my own mind up. everyday i dont sell these. its still made up. I have every confidence still that Tony will see this company deliver. look how far he's taken it up to now.. i know his timelines tend to be very strettttccchhhheddd out, but if you have doubts..look again at who owns 10%, look again at the gas reserves and the permits/licences in place.Gas flows you say? Tony has overseen a TON of these wells whilst in his other companies, and if hes happy with Lesidi, and he is. then so am i. Its all ready.. last few pieces of the puzzle to go. i have an open beer tab in a bar in london for a night for all TLOU holders when we get the PPA.. celebration time....
BTS.. i feel your pain. been here a very long time and am well invested too..i really dont see why the SP is so low. but i do see the company making good steady progress and reaching targets.. i still trust that Tony and the gang can deliver and i always told my self i was in here till first power.. there are still a few key milestones to achieve before that, but i think its looks more likely with each passing day.. hey ho.. just got to trust that the tediously slow process of getting there is moving steadily forward.
anybody got any ideas why the market seems to have reacted so weak to the news we were all waiting for? everything is looking very positive now.
i worked offshore on a rig for plenty of years. we generated more than 20kw with onboard gas turbines. they came in a box. fitted and tested quick and easy.
my question would be. how long to build the cables and pylons to serowe? is that a quick process these days?
I love this bit of the RNS "Tlou considers the first 10MW as a pilot power generation project. Revenues from this project could facilitate rapid future expansion, which could be enormous based on the Contingent Gas Resources already in place at Tlou's project acreage.
i think all i can say is WOOHOOO! crack one open :)
woohoo!!... after being underwater here for an age... finally back in the green! my confidence in Tony and his crew has never been higher. he keeps delivering the goods and am sure that this will gain some great momentum now as the news rolls in.
GREAT interview...
damo72.. i think you also have to factor in how far each company is advanced in their projects and as i see it, TLOU are way ahead in that area. I also think that Tony's experience in this field having already been in 2 very successful companies will be a major factor,, he has proven he can deliver the goods.
lot of movement on very little volume again... if/when we do get some good news, i really think this will fly :) just need the government to get their fingers from out of their a s s .... cmon!
Thanks Tom.. i thought it was 6 months, but as you say. that was last time..this time may be different.
i notice at the bottom of the RNS.. that Tlou are confident of the government off take agreement that they submitted on october 10th.. does anyone know if there Was a time limit on the reply? ie 6 months?
Lekka.. just google search twitter tlou. comes up
got to agree with Scott there.. the wording in the answers seemed very positive to me too..'Significant Likelihood’ is not something they would say if they did'nt think it true.. UPWARDS!!!!
oooooooooooo... starting to get a little bit excited... cmon the good news!
a bit of excitement at last! good night on ASX.. lets hope it continues.. after the very long wait we have all had, cmon Tony and crew.. we know you can deliver the goods..
