Things are improving in Heathrow and for BA at a faster rate than others .

between 08/07 to 22/07 Heathrow traffic went up by +21% (fastest increase) and businees aviation up by +17%.

between 22/07 - 12/08 Heathrow traffic increased by +12% (again fastest increase) and business aviation up +21%.

Spain to Spain flights are the busiest (with flights at 88% of 2019) , Spain to UK flights increasing - IAG has two airlines in Spain Iberia (Madrid) and Vueling (Barcelona).

The point is flights and passenger numbers are increasing weekly.

European air traffic now 70% fof 2019 level, Vueling (owned by IAG) is operating at 72% vs 2019 - as of 12th August 2021.

monitor the number of BA + Iberia flights in 2020 . Most of 2020 , BA has around 30 planes in the air and Iberia about 25 planes on average per day.
This has gone up significantly recently. Last week on one of the days it was showing 88 planes in the air with Iberia having around 60.
Of course IAG has other airlines : BA, Iberia, Vueling, Iberia Express and LEVEL.
About 2 weeks ago BA+Iberia+Vueling had over 1000 daily flights between them (I did not count the others). This number has gone up (will post later).

Just looking at the No of flight departures (passengers) per day for the IAG airelines from their hub airports - BA, Iberia, Aer Lingus and Vueling.
BA - 140 Depatures , Iberia 191, Vueling 161 and Aer Lingus 25 = 517
total flights (with return flight) = 2x 517 = 1034 flights/day

That is substantially more than a few weeks back

There are also other flights such as the cargo .

The point is IAG has already ramped up the flights (not included in the result figures) with more to come from BA when the USA opens up fully. This points to better potentially much better results next time.

Easyjet is now up 3.05 % and Ryanair up 3.85 %. They are moving up fast.

IAG carriers BA, IBRRIA and Aer Lingus have over 700 daily flights (passenger) + cargo flights. This includes a lot of flights to the USA and other red listed countries. The vast majority of planes being used are A320 (250+ sears) and Boeing dreamliners (300 + seats).
The number of passengers will increase over the coming weeks. I also think a lot of people will take winter breaks.
