Despite the disappointment, I’m glad they acted so decisively to suspend trading. It’s bad enough waiting for a share to recover, without watching it tank in the meantime, along with the very real risk of the market running it into the ground permanently.

A very conservative estimate of what was proven up before GSCU started exploration would give about 400% upside assuming AISC were industry average - so very crude. As this looks to be shaping up to be much larger and very shallow, it looks cheap to me.

Seems like good value to buy in now. Good phase for accumulation.

30% on no news?

As we have a while to wait before the next anticipated news, it is interesting to ponder when we may expect offers of JV’s or buy outs to be announced. Of course, it’s quite possible that the board feels they don’t need it, but there will be catalysts for such offers to be made by majors in the not too distant future.

That would make the share price £9.37 if we were at an AVERAGE P/E ratio… takes time

For the market to catch up. Maybe once we have a full year in production with accounts to match?

Pitfield is close to infrastructure, notably a Trainline network and to deep sea ports. What market is there for our ore? Either low extraction cost to Empire and low processing cost to an ore buyer, surely a route to funding development could be selling the ore by the train load. Only capex is possibly some rail extension and then plant - which could be hired and go on P&L.

Perhaps they’re anticipating a 1-25 share split to improve liquidity?!

(Guess - nothing to base that on other than fundamentals and share price history).

Market sentiment is fickle and has prompted a sell off, with a likely mix of fear that we have entered the Orphan phase of the Lassonde curve, low liquidity, stop losses being triggered and a modest placing. All these have had an outsized negative impact. The fundamentals are that there are tens of billions of tonnes of ore, likely to sustain £250Bn of profit over decades of extraction - based to back of an envelope maths using the results so far, market price of TiO2 and average AISC. This will take time and investment, although not necessarily huge amounts of dilution as there is “optionality” here. If you missed the chance to sell at 80p but you don’t need the money to spend in the next 5 years, the Pifield asset should see you right IMO.

No funds to have bought more at 35p today. Onwards and upwards!

Having a look at the last few RNS, with basic back of an envelope maths, it’s still looks like about $250Bn worth of profit to be had from pitfield over time based on current drilling alone. The price rose quickly, so some people are taking profits. The Titanium is still there. There is cash at hand. There is surely a lot more to come from Empire. Looking forward to the long term future here.

Just looking at GSCU given involvement of some management from some who were previously at GGP. So far, I gather there is promising geology locally, good location, promising surveys and some mixed drilling results ranging from good to promising for copper silver and gold. Would anyone care to share why they’re invested?

It sounds cheap to process and with the potential for many billions of dollars of profit from mining Pitfield, one could be forgiven for imagining that a mix of advantageous loans and smaller/fewer placings might land on a favourable side for current holders…

Class action? It’s woeful. If anyone needed their capital out they would be stuck because of this.
