Whilst I firmly believe in the huge long term potential for Empire with the huge Pitfield deposit, there is one thing I’m puzzling over. Will this follow the Lassonde curve, and if so, where will first peak end up before a potential retrace? I’d like to think it’s just onwards and upwards with the funding already in place and the cheap processing signposted, but past experience has taught me that rarely happens.

29 Bn tonnes at 5% TiO2 at £1450 produced at a net profit of 12.5% would be over £250Bn… seems to good to be true, perhaps why market not caught up?!

One wonders if they are already looking at options to expand processing capacity at Telfer in the next decade. That’s a lot of ore to get through!

With the company worth less than £1.5m it could be attractive to an investor with deeper pockets than mine to buy out ALBA and turn the old mines into a tourist attraction. Any revenue would then make it more valuable than it is today - the ice cream sales alone would add more shareholder value than the BOD have in the past 5 years!

Perhaps the 500M sell this morning was a “stag”, to crash the price and buy back cheaper. There are enough hostile states that may engage in this behaviour, as well as wealthy traders looking for profit.

If I had the time and money, I would have taken out a short position to depress the price whilst I loaded up on shares before production. Seeing as someone in that position appears to be doing this, I’ve just taken advantage of the opportunity to buy more at these prices.

When do we anticipate the results from the current RC drills? Are they to be released together, or as they are processed? Many thanks.

Has anyone had a stab at the value of Pitfield?

As a complete novice, I’m trying to value the titanium reserves here using figures from drilling and google search for AISC of titanium production. I’m coming up with an huge figure after production costs. I can’t find any other valuation method - I’ve gone with volume of deposit 8,000m x 40,000m x 150m = 48,000,000,000 cubic metres (used 150m depth samples but magnetic survey says it could be over 6,000m)

X 0.78 as it’s oval not rectangle

= 47,400,000,000 cubic metres

X 3 for tonnes of rock per cube

= 1,120,000,000,000 tonnes

X 1% (min grade ore sampled)

=11,232,000,000

X 50% estimate ore is titanium

= 5,616,000,000 tonnes titanium

X ($3,710/t titanium - $210/t production cost)

= $19,656,000,000,000

Thanks for the responses. I fully understand the proposed cross-listing implications. I believe they the ability to trade on ASX within the ISA would confer some advantages, even for GGP, even in the case where we remain cross-listed (and I have every confidence that is the intention of Shaun, who I believe to be very competent and straight).

I have some shares in other companies operating in Oz, on AIM, that may cross-list or move to ASX for similar reasons to GGP, hence my wish to trade on ASX to mitigate a potential risk.

I have a stocks and shares ISA with Barclays and cannot currently hold shares on the ASX in there. However, several foreign exchanges have been added to the list that one can trade on from the platform over the past 12 months. I phoned Barclays today to solicit a request for trading on ASX to be facilitated on their platform. Does anyone else have an ISA that they can hold ASX listed shares in? If not - I suggest asking your provider to add ASX - GGP is not alone as an up and coming Australian based company, where AIM investors being vulnerable to losing out of the move to ASX and dump AIM.

First post. Held since Dec ‘18 after noticing price movement and doing reading suggested by Bamps (thank you). I haven’t posted before as there are far better qualified individuals presenting quality research (again - thank you). One thing that’s on my mind of a technical, financial topic - if, as Zoros says, “we” still hold 85% of the share capital, what would happen to the shorts is each of us increased our holding by 5% at these very reasonable prices? A question, not a suggestion.
