Sometimes it’s a call you have to make as you watch it dropping. Always nice to sell up and buy more with your profit at a cheaper price. Plenty of day traders been doing it here. Might be a false drop though before it rises back to the 70s. Let’s see what he says. And also see what the Dow does this week. Hopefully trump can keep his gob shut this week too.

I’m amazed it’s still this cheap. Long term it’s an absolute steal.

I’m still hoping cinemas are not in the bar category and are allowed to open up before. I can understand why bars would be last, alcohol and social distancing might be tricky.

But the cinema is not a booze related hobby and should not be classed the same as bars, pubs etc. Cinemas have loads of space and they generally work on 22% capacity anyway. So easy to implement some kind of SD until things calm down.

Yeah it will be nice to get an idea of a plan, fingers crossed. Hopefully we’ll get a positive affect on the market this week.

Apart from when a new movies come out cinemas in general usually have plenty of space, so social distancing is going to be simple I feel. Sometimes you can be one of 30 people in there, especially a few weeks after a movie has come out. They’ll just have to prolong the movie opening days/weeks so there is enough space. But people are still going to want to see a new star wars movie, they’re just have to wait a bit longer. They can do all bookings online with blocked seats etc. Also very little customer contact too.

So really they might not be affected at all, possibly a small percentage drop? IMO

I bloody hope so. Commercial landlords need to take a hit like the rest of us. Maybe a holiday?.

2r hopefully you’ll get a much higher price and reduce your loss. Loosing money Awful. I lost a fair amount a few years and vowed never to dabble again. But opportunities like this do not come along too often. Just wish I got back into TW around a quid. They’ve been holding strong for a few weeks now.

Ben it’s funny you should mention that. I’ve been discussing this with friends for a the last 4 weeks. The way we work from now could change dramatically. I have friends (biz owners) who have had very little disruption whilst working from home. They could save 50k plus by not having an office. Just a weekly meeting in hub spots. Client smoozing in health clubs, hotels etc. I have a feeling commercial landlords could be ****ting themselves right now. Although it’s NOT easy to get out of a commercial agreement from experience. Councils would loose massive money on rates too, unless the landlords get nailed on that. And yes the knock on to shops and general socialising around city centres Monday to Friday. This could be massive IMO. Don’t want to get to wrapped up in negativity around all this be need to be aware I feel.

Have you gents looked at SHI lately. Ties in with house builders. Worth a gander.

We’ve seen this move up and down for some time now, great for day trading as Spev said. But at some point it will keep on going. But we don’t know when that will be. I wonder what the next base level will be, 65/70?..

Stopping or delaying for now is good IMO. Not the time to be buying a business bases on a price from 3 months ago. But a great time to buy a business on today’s prices.

Maybe we’ll get a steady rise until then. If other openings are not working well then things might be pushed back again, possibly pushing the price down. Let’s see who jumps ship on Monday. There could be a false drop but back on track in the afternoon. Top up time maybe?.

I’m hoping restaurants will fall into the same opening stage category as cinemas. A bit tricky with the smaller ones buts let’s see.

Theses cinemas have lots of space to implement some form of distancing which can then be relaxed gradually as things change. Not ideal but it gets things moving back to some form of normality.

Anybody know how many JPM have left to sell?

Some LTH on TW talking about a recession and issues getting stock once restrictions are opened. I guess it might be tricky for a while. But we have Europe too so that’s a plus. Finger crossed. GLA
