According to LSE financial diary, tomorrow and Wednesday there are a number of UK and international announcements, not sure how any of them might affect the FTSE but I guess its useful to know these things. There are currently no other announcements due this week or next that I can see.

Shovel. Cinemas work on around 22% capacity so wouldn’t be effected. Opening’s to new films would have to be prolonged over more days though to stick to the rules.

I don’t see them selling tbh. They are only interested in buying other cinemas companies. They are still adamant about the cineplex sale going through, Although some shareholders do not agree. In 2018 they bought regal cinemas for $3.6 billion.

Actually feeks, you are wrong. Cinemas are completely different to establishments that sell alcohol. Drunk people and SD is simply just NOT going to work.

He’s not going to mention a pecking order until we get closer. It’s a brief outline that can and probably will change as per events.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Cineworld are putting together a system ready to show the govn how it can work. There’s so much room in a cinema, they run on 22% capacity. We all know these are risky times to be investing and we need to be mindful about what happens to the R rate for us and other countries.

But as you say, let’s see what the market says. It’s still going to be bumpy, IMO

Yeah if it screws up or the R rate increases then it’s rocky times again. So many variables here that can effect shares either way. Still going to be bumpy.

Shaz I still feel cinemas will open before the pubs etc. But I could be wrong.

And let’s remember there are only a 1000 screens in the UK. They have another 9000 on top of that. 10% of the company.
