Not sure 10000 bopd creates an issue with infrastructure....they are selling to mini refineries locally so small tanker costs for now. If it's a gusher at 3000 bopd then that creates a welcome problem...802 looks like a game changer as they have a deep flowing and can start to put a value on the reserve
This was at 27p in 2014 when they had no production and Baverstock owned 50% of the business...todays production alone should have this well into double figures Gaffney Cline are in Khazak...success now almost guaranteed at 802 a reserve update could send this into orbit
Now that the business is restructured in a way that the directors are happy with ...I can see some positive sentiment returning to this stock...42p SP is certainly not out of question if dividend payments start, the boat gets hired and one of the deeps comes in 802 looking interesting
KK I have held RXP shares longer than you have...what's clear to me is however articulate any of us make our observations, non of of us have a 'scooby do' what's really going on...the dividend declaration rules out taking it private...which is one box ticked...the new wholly owned subsidiary will be another way of syphoning money away and the $5-$10 benefit to CASP is how much the new co..feels it can take without too much scrutiny...I used to talk with Clive, but now find his unprofessionalism unbearable....I think we'll see a lot of new investors and we'll see them arriving tomorrow...good time to be a holder....but impossible to guess what really happens next
Trickle of Pi sells taking the price down...market is totally flat. $£, China growth, Bitcoin, Putin and inflation all dragging the market down. Nothing anyone can do at the mo....sitting on my hands and a 'shed load' of CASP shares !!!
The SP price has been manipulated in the past with 'matched trades' I can see no evidence that it's being manipulated at the moment. For a start share volumes are small. There is a general slump in AIM traded companies with wary investors awaiting Putin's next move. The MRs could be good news for Tokayev, eager to distance himself from Putin, at the same time opening more doors to international trade. I think production could actually have been higher during the period, hence the need for storage. Lower production may have been a political and not a technical issue. Wait for more MRs to come online pay less tax and transport costs and take Russia out of the equation? Discovering oil at 802 just below the salt layer is big news and would have in the past been enough to send the SP upwards...802 may be the catalyst for significant dividends...all IMO obviously
I am not sure we've had a stuck pipe in a completed well. The MRs present a new opportunity not only for CASP but for Tokayev...remember Putin closed the pipeline in response to Khazak refusal to recognise the breakaway territories in Ukraine...less oil flowing through that pipe means that Tokayev can't be blackmailed into backing Putin....he's already done a deal with Xi to build wind farms...nothing to stop CASP building wind farms on top of an oil field or two or three...all looks good to me
McQ yep and they didn't take it private...success at 802 rightly understated due to difficulty at those depths...but through the salt structure already, cased and have found oil...could be the first deep in production IMO
