dd picking your brain again just watched a video on setting a casing is the cement used a basic sand/cement mixture or a more specialised one.

We seem to be just drifting at the moment we waited so long for this drill now its here seems a bit of an anti-climax i think when we are told the 2nd casing has been set we will see a lot of nervous tension kick in until we get that T/D RNS and everyone holds their breath and clicks to read it now that will be real stress i just hope it begins with the words WE ARE PLEASED TO ........... before anyone quotes Badile i`m pretty certain that mistake won`t be repeated.

Man in the 17th oct RNS they said they would use a 7" liner may be they have changed their minds and going smaller ?

dd a couple of questions from yesterday you might shed some light on davyboy was asking would they be using a slotted liner and does the liner go the full lenght of the reservoir.

davey its a pity ddboy is not about he might know

I thought the production liner would extend into the reservoir to t/d BWDIK.

Chill i think both casing points will be set just above the Tagi thats my understanding ddboy would be the man to answer that question if he`s about today.

eggy if he really annoys them they could always invite him to tea at one of their consulates.

My understanding is 3d is10x more expensive and comes with no guarantees as davy says lets see how we do with the 2d

What interested me was we were only using 2 casing points on this well i asked ddboy what he thought the reason for this he believed it would allow for optimum drilling speed so T/D could be a bit quicker than we think.

dd when do yoy think we will reach the first casing point will that give a clue to how quick the dill is going?

dd then why have a webcam if their concerned about what we might see we never asked for it they volunteered it.

Don`t rush to view in their infinite wisdom they decided to show a clip prior to drilling unbelievable.

Could we hear first casing point set next week?

Can`t help but feel it would have been a nice touch to have the webcam show the spudding of TE9 instead all we have is a webcam 7 days out of date.
