Wise to hedge bets gambling on AIM, learned a long time ago to drip feed average, keep some powder dry in case or worse case scenario.

Market been pricing in a placing for sometime here imo. Doest help when Bird starts diluting holders in his other companies to smithereens (Bzt).

I think this is worth buying here ahead of next quarterly gold update.

Bought a small amount trying to bottom fish but kept powder dry in case of more bird smithereens here but If gold equities finally turn more bullish as I think they will then I’m betting XTR ends this year at least x1 higher than where it is now.

Kodal been smacked down to .31-33. No advice to others but I’ve started buying it down there. Could go .2’s if I’m lucky and then I’ll be loading up.

Yes I am. I wasn’t that happy with the price anyway so my opinion is I either take full price now or get more in future.

Even if offer fails which I don’t expect then don’t see much downside either.

If there was something else I wanted to buy instead of I would but already sitting on most of cash I pulled out of market couple of years ago. I need to comfortably put that back in market this year so rather hold the equity.

Realise that’s more of an investor view than a traders but I actually regarded that one as an “investment”.

Took me ages to build my position in shg with a 10p odd average and I felt that I’d finally built the size and average to my advantage boom.

Yes hold SHG in ISA and felt it was Investable, commented very little on it as generally thought it was being well run by pro’s.

When I saw many commentators criticising management at SHG I could only think

“You want to try holding OMI then you wouldn’t have anything to complain about here!”

Seingred I was also disappointed with SHG outcome. Thought that could have been 500 mill mcap in a few years. Better than a loss though I guess.

Looking a little bit brighter here now on the chart and volume but I agree that there will have a to be some punitives imposed to get Anza back.

It’s just a case of how the current sp reflects against the deal.

For a heavily loss making operation the CEO salary seems insane.

Even more insane is that he publicly says something like

“I already have enough money it’s about helping people”

If he dilutes at silly prices with no returned value from Anza then it’s a disaster of unforgivable proportions with any mention of spodumene a mockery.

He said something like “maybe then the market will finally give us some credit”

He knows what the market wants, whether he delivers is another matter.

I think that was his way of telling market he will resolve Anza before dilution.

There was a poster here about a year ago who said they worked directly in the mining industry and had experience of these JV contracts. Also stated that dilution wasn’t a problem because the valuation would allow for it in a years time.

Would like to know what their view is now but I don’t think they have posted since.

If they still read this thread I would be genuinely interested in their views now.

I’m not trying to make an expert look silly, I’d just like to know how they view this debacle at this point

With a market cap of under 6 million it’s impossible to “like” the other JV’s without knowing the dilutive cost of them.

If you have to give away 40-50% of top co/Anza to raise a few million it seems a poor economy from where I sit.

As others say annual/bi annual dilution of 10-20% of equity is expected and accepted but if he has to give away 50% of the equity just for a few million (that will not go far across 3 early stage projects + plus lumpy wage bill etc) then how can a sane investor like the %’s?

He simply has to resolve Anza before he dilutes. The alternative is an awful consideration

Are newmont going to increase their stake at low mcap?

Could this be why it’s in Canada at the office of an llp who specialise in mining?
