The original Mendoza 1-R well drilled by Pure Oil in 1959, 200m to the north-west, flowed gas at a rate of 2.6 million cubic feet per day during a 48 minute drill stem test from a gas zone at a depth of 2,600m. Cost over runs, estimated at approximately $1.4 million, have been incurred, due principally to delays in equipment mobilisation and demobilisation due to poor weather conditions. Demobilisation is ongoing and is expected to be completed this week. CDS Reports on Results from First Well in Paraguay CDS Oil & Gas Tuesday, February 28, 2006 CDS Oil & Gas has received results from sidewall core and fluids analyses from its first well, CDS-GM-05-5001, drilled in the Chaco Basin in western Paraguay. The well, which reached a planned depth of 1,635 meters on December 23, 2005, was cased and suspended for testing or deepening at a later date. The initial objective of the well was a potential oil-bearing zone between 705 meters and 1,600 meters, identified by CDS through its interpretation of seismic data and well logs of previous Related Products Geomechanics in Reservoir Simulation Rules of Thumb for the Man on the Rig drilling operations between 1947 and 1996. The drilling of this well fulfilled the Company's work obligation on the Gabino Mendoza Block. Special core analysis was conducted by Geosystems LLP in Kingwood, Texas on Devonian sidewall cores. Geochemical and hydrocarbon identification analysis were performed on sidewall cores and drill cuttings at Humble Geochemistry, Inc., in Humble, Texas. Analyses to date by CDS of the technical information derived from the well, confirms that liquid hydrocarbons were found within several zones of the well. However, reservoir qualities are lower than required to be able to flow oil unassisted. Always look at a long term chart and dyor. watch projects in those years and their promisses and what they reallised. Cash position, lisences, partnerships, accomodity´s. Anyone can make a mistake even the best board or managementteam. But if it happens too offen stay out. If you want to buy in i always give the ask price or a little bit above. everyone on this bb knows, if i´m not in the possebillity to follow a share on the screen, my broker has to sell at every 30% profit, 50% of my holding. My expectation is the first 30% in June/Juli. Reason arrival Adriatic VI.

6 Mar 2006 Trading Update Alkane Energy, the international energy company that designs, builds, operates and services climate change reduction and renewable electricity generation plants, provides the following update on trading. The Group's results for the year ended 31 December 2005 will be below market expectations and the results will show an operating loss before exceptional items. Trading in the second half in the UK was adversely affected by operational problems at a number of sites. Two of Alkane's more mature coal mine methane plants experienced problems under ground in the last quarter and work is ongoing to try to bring these back into service. Three newer sites suffered teething troubles and finished the year below budget. Pro2 (Alkane’s 51 per cent owned German subsidiary) also finished the year below budget. Pro2 has a strong seasonal bias towards the final quarter and the level of sales achieved in the final quarter of 2005 was less than expected. In addition, the results in the second half were adversely affected by one-off warranty claims and provisions against trade debtors. Pro2 is actively pursuing counter claims against the original manufacturer of equipment relating to the warranty claims and payment of the unpaid debtors. In December 2005, Alkane lent Euro3.0 million to Pro2 to support its seasonal working capital requirements. Pro2 is expected to repay this loan in the first half of 2006 as its working capital demands return to normal
