George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Hope you are well and can you please answer me a question.
I sometimes get invited to speak at various Conferences etc and the last one is regarding the Immuno U.K. In person Congress in London in March 2023 which amongst other things will cover Cancer Vax clinical data and case studies.
I have absolutely no reason at all why I get invited as I don’t possess any expertise, experience and am sure if they checked me out they would realise their mistake.
As our resident expert in this field is it common practice for you to get invited to speak at these kind of meetings as you would feel they would at least check people out to see if they are qualified to make a contribution.
Thanks in advance
WTP have mentioned this before but RG always thought that it would be likes of Bion Tech who would likely be much more interested in Moditope platform as a natural fit than traditional big pharma.
So now they have lots of resources and Modi 1 is showing tremendous potential then if the Modi results continue to be as good as LD thinks then game on
Thanks Botski and look forward to recording.
Sounds really positive and when you get “ excitement “ in the room which seems palpable then it looks to have been very worthwhile to attend.
Looks like a number of value inflection points to come and of course the Moditope results are very eagerly awaited.
Echo other comments Botski and thanks for recording this time and in past years so that we can all make our own minds up as to significance as what is said.
Personally am happy with all feedback from whatever source as can then interpret it in a balanced way as people do see things differently.
Seem to recall every bit of previous feedback was their recollection or comment on how things had gone and information shared and find it hard to believe anyone would try and deliberately mislead info positively or negatively for some nefarious benefit.
However nothing better for those that can’t attend than having a recording so we can make our own minds up.
As I said earlier if any SH had a material interest in what was likely to be gleaned from the event I would expect them to make every effort to attend not just to judge first hand but also to talk to the BoD outside of the official meeting as I have always found them very engaging and this opportunity only happens once a year.
Hi LL,
Sorry to hear about your wrist and that you can’t attend as would have been to get as much feedback as possible.
C7- please tell me what about my post is “ threatening” if anything I was trying to as light hearted as possible unless simply agreeing with Kashdog is somehow seen as the work of the devil.
If I held a significant holding here then I would definitely make every effort to attend as I have done previously as I think they are a very valuable opportunity to assess the current mood music as well as gain information and insight, but this time am content to rely on any feedback if it is given but no matter either way.
Agree AB but to me the value of attending an AGM is not to hear new news but to ask questions, elicit answers and chat to BoD at event abd try and get a much better feel for their level of confidence etc.
Always better when AGM takes place against a very positive background so look forward to any feedback
Evening Friggs,
If Calculus are selling and that is a strong possibility then imo the SP action is to be expected.
When news lands they sell more into volume so stays same or small rise and when no news the volume is low so a small decline.
I think they are being quite good at not selling and crashing the SP which is the professional way to do it so doing it gradually.
Most of LTH already hold decent amounts so not likely to add substantially more to create volume so you need stellar news to attract a much newer group of traders/ investors to create the volume like a few weeks ago with Genmab deal.
The Modi news is extremely good but many outside of here don’t fully appreciate its potential significance but I do think SCLP is on many peoples radar compared to a few months ago.
Hi Bermuda,
Would like to think they will be attending Waldorf in some capacity though it is much more commercial than scientific in terms of mingling.
As you know you have to be invited there and sure they will have been so if they don’t attend that will be a specific decision and gives a great opportunity to meet with potential partners and of course internal stakeholders like RM and Vulpes
Morning
CW nice article and highlights potential of of T cells in combating cancer.Highlights very personalised nature of cancer and need for individual assessment and treatment.
The Modi 1 result is so far extremely positive and of course potentially life changing for the patient which is the most important bit.
That is why the gathering of more data in this patient and others is so crucial in establishing the full potential of Moditope and why we need to be patient and wait for official news rather than speculate about the wider potential as a given until we know more about how different individuals may respond who face different challenges.
However any treatment that demonstrates improvement in any individual where all other treatments have not worked appears a breakthrough abd if course potentially life changing fir that specific patient.
Good luck to all in those combatting this dreadful disease.
Morning Modi 2

Ray the £8 prediction was rubbished by many who have been proved absolutely correct over the last 10 years whether they are the doomies or realistic I will let others decide.
But the facts are the highest the SP has reached in last 5- 6 years given loads more shares is about 27-28p.
Yes the potential is huge but as soon as good news comes it leads by a multiple if 10.
If more good news then it may hit a £800 a share target- only joking and even me with my modest holding will make the ST Rich List.
Mind you sone on here will have a net worth bigger than the Govt debt lol
Ha ha Crumbs I hope we get there but I subscribe to the Merck philosophy of investing and having confidence in the Science and the profits will come as they always have done.
So believe in the Science, enjoy the journey and not worry too much about the destination whether £8 or £80 as we will end up where we do.
Morning All
AB I very support yours, Bermudas and others view of how the comments from the McMillan forum have been made more widely available. My understanding is it is a Members forum set up to help support and share advice, experiences and understanding of what is a very traumatic time in peoples lives.
The only concern should be appreciating the value that such forums provide and the hope and support that community helps the individuals fighting this dreaded disease and enable them to express their views in an open way without having to be concerned about the possibility of them being published elsewhere without their permission for various purposes.
My only interest is in truly hoping that SCLP can provide some of the answers to combat cancer and help alleviate much of the misery it brings but can we please reign in some of the more “ outlandish” predictions both here and in ADVFN and just wait for official news from SCLP.
They have already confirmed the excellent initial Modi 1 results and all SH should rejoice in that news and wait for mote information to further confirm efficacy and safety.
Whilst I fully understand the current excitement I do find some aspects distasteful of the “ glee” demonstrated by some as to the “ success of Moditope” is a given.
If you are so confident it should be no problem to simply wait for further news to confirm your thoughts and it will be interesting to see any response from SCLP at the AGM.
We are mainly confident here but talk of £80( longer term) a share and multi billion pound nailed on deals which some people sincerely believe are around the corner are imo very premature and until we have more data and/ or SCLP talk in such terms I will just wait patiently.
Nice post Chester and as the data comes in the much greater the potential validation of the science.
We must always be very careful with such low cohort numbers but I do think you are correct in that as each positive result comes in the validation is more exponential than mathematical.
Hi Chester,
There have been veterinary treatments for melanoma for about 10 years now and are very successful
.As already said this market is very small and handled in therapeutic terms via specialist oncologists.
PS RGs son is one of them.
There are more generalised treatments for prevention on conditions such as FeLV etc.
