clerc, £2m spare cash for equipment? Where'd you get that figure from? There aren't many RNS over the past 6-12 months, I'd suggest reading them it won't take you long.
Fyi:
$117m is on the way, most likely by the end of next month, equipment is on order waiting final confirmation.
KOD have been drilling since mid January and results are due any day... Then Mali/Chinese approvals and then it's game on imo.
Motley Fool have been running several articles a week on KOD since the turn of the year, most contradicting the other.
I wouldn't put it quite like Daz did but I'd not pay much attention to them either.
Just over 5 weeks to go now until the funding transaction long stop date.
Looking forward to the next 18 months with a big smile on my face.

@clapa.
I like this too in the same RNS:
"
MSALABS has also now commissioned a mine site laboratory at Shanta Gold's Singida mine, Tanzania, and a laboratory in Bougouni, Mali, which will support gold and lithium operations in southern Mali.

elcobbledore, I agree.
At first I was disappointed with the DMS option because all I could see was ££ generated by the flotation option.
The DMS option is sensible and gets us to cash generation quicker and has much less risk than the longer flotation build considering the time+costs to commission.
Take a look at Leo Lithium share price and rumors of overspend requiring a cash raise in the near term (true or not those rumors persist) ... less risk of that for KOD. Sensible strategy indeed.
Lav, we are now 6 weeks since the deposit landed and a further 6 weeks from the long stop date to complete the funding transaction (which could be extended if required).
My crystal ball tells me that news is going to land the last week of March and that news will be the change notification. This will trigger all the other pending news.
What I did pick up on is that during the mining conference in Cape Town last month, Steve Z was arranging with DRA Global for the DMS unit to be installed in 6 months (source =BA in a BRR media interview).Feb, Mar, Apr, May, June, =July/August....
We know that it expected that it will be 12-14 months to build the mine from the moment finance arrives and a further 3-5 months ramp up until full nameplate capacity.
By October 2024 I envisage a healthy looking share price north of 2p.
