RE: Revenue explained15 Nov 2022 13:12
Bebeto,
"Here's the reason, it's the purity of the gold dore, historically Kilimapesa gold dore has been 75-77% pure gold average."
That doesn't compute, as the Prospectus details the amount of Gold Dore historically refined and the cash received. Obviously there are refining costs, so the price per oz paid is less.
looks pretty pure to me.
On 14 September 2020, KPGL recommenced gold production with the first gold pour completed and 2,717g (85oz)
of gold dore produced. The gold dore was transported to the Rand Refinery in South Africa and refined. Gold sale
proceeds of $163,157 were received by KPGL.
$163,157 / 85oz = $1919 per oz - spot price was around $1950
"a further 5 gold pours were completed up to the period ending 31 December 2020 with a total of 16,647g (518oz) of gold dore produced and a
further $971,250 of gold sale revenues generated."
$971,250 / 518 oz = $1875 per oz - spot price was $1897
