Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
May sound a daft comment but dog weddings is something people do. Pet funerals is also a massive market. Loads of money is made in pets, personally I think some of it is bonkers but there's money in it. People spend more on their pets than relatives. Anyway slightly off point but just shows different ways money is made. Lightens the mood a bit http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/8433985/Owner-spends-20000-on-wedding-for-dog.html
A point I made sometime ago and stand by is if we keep the purchase price low for the tlds we purchase, then the b/e and profit point is much more achievable. This is is especially relevant to some of the domains that others have dismissed such as .horse, .cooking etc. Just check what's available yourselves and you will see many have already gone. We didn't pay a lot for those domains and initial registrations alone should have more than covered the purchase price. This is before any future renewals are considered. Some of the tlds will clearly perform better than others but if you research you will notice tldh/minds and machines has been selective in which domains it bids for and others that it leaves alone. My point here is we won't need millions of registrations to reach a profit point per tld, it will be more like thousands for many and that is something worth thinking about in my opinion.
the.best is unavailable and simplythe.best has already been registered.
Yes these sales are encouraging, I do see the head lice as a reactive purchase product, i.e. something you buy when needed rather than something you keep in just in case but perhaps I'm wrong and depends on what the little bugs are up to in the US schools! Whilst concentrating on pushing the sales and stocks its good to see the attention to other products. In their own words: "What's next for TyraTech? Our personal repellent to get rid of nasty pests like mosquitoes and ticks without harmful chemicals. A win-win."
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-news-from-elsewhere-26576617 I found the pricing interesting and it also mentions London coming soon. I think .London will demand higher initial premiums but will be interesting to see how .Berlin is received and how our own German domains are priced.
Looking good, any info about uk? Would assume asda
Yes it held and rose well even when the general markets were negatively down with the Ukraine news. Been nice and steady but showing upward movement now. I doubt single figures will be seen again and I've been tempted to consolidate/top up. News and sales figures will give a clear picture but if positive then this could be a good opportunity.
Spread tightening and buying activity increasing which is encouraging leading up to results to be announced at end of month.
Hi Trend, You do have a good general point there and it is something I need to give more time to. There seems to be a lot of short term holding opportunities in the market, just need to have a strict exit strategy. I'm sometimes a bit skeptical of stop losses that can get triggered as showing your cards etc. Have probably seen at least 5 shares where could have achieved 30% profit in short term with an in and out strategy but generally I have been longer term. It is though something I will consider and monitor after some more research.
It had a crazy ride and rise over a short period. Drops will be scaring some people. I bought in quite high before the last rise and then retrace. Perhaps short term and with hindsight I should have sold and bought back but I don't have my crystal ball but I'm working on it! I bought for longterm though so will see how doing in a few months but maybe tempted to add and consolidate with lower prices. They are meant to be bringing out other products too so is other potential avenues of growth.
I know these aren't our domains but shows its happening and once our marketing increases will becoming our way. I've just had yet another mailshot from Fasthost On the 5th March, .CAREERS, .PHOTOS and .SHOES domains become available for registration. For companies, .CAREERS provides a great signpost for your recruitment pages - enabling you to promote yourcompany.careers. And the .CAREERS extension is also perfect for recruitment agencies - especially those specialising in a particular industry.
Has anyone seen that booking advert? At the end of it they list booking.yeah It caught our attention at home but it turns out to be just a play on words rather than a live tld. Made me try it though and will be interesting to see once some others are live that are usable and marketed in our living rooms. Markets are genuinely widely down today and present buying opportunities including here in my opinion.
Should bring a positive reaction
Interview is also in the media section above.
Norrab that's a really good example and if marketed correctly could work well. A partnership with a retailer would assist this for wedding lists etc as many already have links anyway. Plenty more news to follow. The sp has solidified around current level and further news and updates should progress upwards from here shortly and steadily.
“This is the biggest change to the internet since it was invented,” says Peter Dengate Thrush, former Chairman of the Board of ICANN. This statement is bold and perhaps it isn't the biggest change but it is certainly going to be significant. Personally I started looking at this company and the the industry last year. Since then whilst I have some reservations that some of the tlds may not do as well as others, if the profit point is kept low then a return is more likely. I have since narrowed my other investments into here and have a real belief this could be a life changing investment once awareness and revenue is realized. Again one point these domains don't need to fly but if costs are kept low for certain tlds, the profit points are highly achievable and long term renewals give this longevity. Rumored eventual buyout gives a great exit strategy too. Dyor and make your own decisions. I'm just letting you know mine.
Agreed Goldenegg Fasthost sent me some more mailouts this week.
I thought this was in the early hours of this morning our time - did it happen? This is separate to private auctions - which again has never been said one way or the other if we are involved this time. Just curious about the summary of the webinar if anyone knows?
From the article: Indeed, Rolf Larsen, an IT industry entrepreneur and chief executive of Dotglobal, which is set to launch in Singapore next month, says he believes this is a "once in a lifetime chance".
I topped up at 20p last time round - given time we are going to be far from here. Once you've done your research and can see the potential patience is key. There will be some healthy retraces as we go but as the news flow flows and the revenue data is proven things will change dramatically.
