The original timing for the CPR was end of June, I suspect the JV had sight of the document and then out of the blue Wressle started producing water in early July so they asked for the CPR to be updated. If I am correct, DB will be aware of the updated reserves and therefore unable to buy shares into Treasury or for himself until the CPR is made public.

Heid thanks for that. here's some analysis I posted on advn - not sure if I posted it here. assuming all my numbers are correct it suggests a drop in July - not necessarily permanent of course, perhaps they had to fine tune the separator?

EDR RNS 03.08.23 - 492'876 barrels to 31.07.23

conclusion: 61 days for Jun/Jul = 42'335 or 694 bpd

UJO RNS 14.06.23 - Oil production stable at approximately 780 barrels per day under restricted flow

"if" 780 bpd was the av. for June that would give a July av. of 611 bpd

With the sudden appearance of water in the mix, would there be any down-time to calibrate the separator or is it automatic?

UJO will receive £765k for the EDR shares - I suspect some would like it paid as a dividend but I would like to see that spent on buy-backs, about 3.3m shares at the current sp

NSTA data can be downloaded. the spreadsheets have columns headed 'water production' and 're-injected produced water' so we should see 'water production' data for July on 1st October - I'm not aware that the water is re-injected so I expect that column to be nil. hopefully EDR or UJO will tell us how waste water is being disposed of and how it affects break even

Uggy I think malcy is being very diplomatic in order to secure an interview, his email reply to me ended "I think they are mad!"

It's very odd that DB as CEO has invested company money in shares in EDR, ELEP, UKOG and a Royalty as well as having been a money lender to EDR & EOG...yet strangely he doesnt have the confidence to invest his OWN money in the company he runs, not even when the sp was in the toilet

Back in December 2021 when the sp slumped to 10.5p DB did not buy any shares, I doubt he will buy any now although it would be very welcome if he did

DB needs to crank up the PR as investors are voting with the sell button. Rather than his normal interview format where the interviewer never asks any difficult questions, I would suggest DB invites written questions from investors and then posts a podcast on twitter answering as many questions as possible, or simply give a detailed status report for each PEDL and explains what his plans are to grow the company...come on "Dave", wake up!

Heid, 4 possibilities come to mind - in no particular order

- closed period (various scenarios)

- saving cash for something

- DB expects the sp to drop further

- DB on holiday

- our best near-term hope is Keddington,

- best case for Wressle is 12-18 months away for another drill imo (no planning application)

- GTG could happen sooner if prioritised by Heyco (no planning application)

- EDR hasnt mentioned the gas-engine for local GTW for a while, I assume that's dead (no planning application for cable)

- Bisc is anyone's guess.

I see Egdon have farmed into 2 more PEDLs as operator - I think that makes a total of 37 licenses...I hope they find the time to progress our JVs

I'm not happy with the LNe deal but it's done so let's hope for the best, the letter is the first step, if MASE issue a 'formal decree' LNe has to raise Euro16m "debt funded" which is going to be challenging for a tiny company

Nov. 2019 - Egdon is finalising the assessment of potential infill drilling locations at Keddington with a view to targeting potential side track drilling opportunities.

Heid, planning has been ongoing for 4 years, hopefully MA will be true to his word but he doesn't have a good track record for delivering on time...fingers crossed it will be different this time!

Anywhere near Keddington Micky? perhaps you can keep an eye on the pad for the next few months, it's probably the only way we are going to find out if anything is happening there!

GP, are you sure about your maths? 3 or 4 tankers of oil per day so 90-120 per month

3.72% water for July means 3 or 4 tankers of water, too much to store on site imo

That's a very interesting article, I wonder if Egdon have had the waste water analysed?

Heid do you know how EDR is disposing of the water and how it effects break-even? I havent found anything that explains what's in place. thx.
