This is a method of valuation used for decades ( and still used ) on the Rand RSA The ore body there is usually between 30 centimetres to say 100 centimetres. With this width measured they chip a channel and assay for gold,,,,,,,,say 25 grams per tonne was a common grade. this over 30 cms gives 750 cmgms. So it a way of expressing the total value of ore body. For a given gold value the worth of the ore body increases with its width
For ours its 215m x 100 (cms ) gives apparent width ? of 21,500 cms at grade of 1.46 gms 31,390 cmgms. Clearly now more value than the average Rand ore body. Assuming our hole did go in perpendicular to the ore body hanging and foot walls
