Turtlehead has lost his head! or maybe he should wind his neck in? he's a Turtlehead after all.
I agree, it's an exercise in futility arguing when nobody is accountable, me included.
You juvenile clown
Embarrassed?
Shorts are definitely closing is your opening statement!
Followed by some woolly qualification that they be opening as well.
Great job, that’s insightful. Things may go up but they could go down.
You genius
But let’s be clear as of today shorts or the total short positions are not closing they are opening which I’d say directly contradicts your opening statement.
Bubble is hardly offensive but you seem to be a bit thin skinned.
I suppose being sat on a big loss can do that to a person
That’s bs! You’ve asserted that shorts are closing when the reality is they’re increasing.
Short tracker has them at 7.2% today 3 increasing 1 decreasing.
I’m long asos and would be more than happy to see the short positions reduced or better closed but they are not.
Sorry to burst your bubble but 3 shorts increased their positions on the 1st.
There’s no published significant change in the short positions yet.
Voleon reduced by 0.03% on the 31st
That’s it there are no recent closed positions just a few minor reductions over a week ago
Where are you seeing that? Shortracker isn’t showing any meaningful reductions
I agree but they turned down a billion+ less than a year ago.
Typically you’d think a premium that size would be more than enough but I don’t think it’s close this time.
I think the current management are done, I suspect both Frasers and Povlsen know there’s a great business in here if run and financed properly.
I think there will be fireworks in the next few months as know one wants to wait 2 years to see tangible progress.
Povlsen isn’t going to agree to a 600 offer as long as he has a hole in his a@@e and he’s the biggest share holder.
If MA forces his hand he takes it private with Camelot backing.
Imho

Shein will not be allowed to continue with its practices in the uk and eu.
It could be but then pigs can fly can’t they?
I’m sure the shorts need some where to store their piles of cash, I’d tap them up first they can afford it.
This update has finally got some shares sold. 1.2 million and most of the day remaining.
Somebody’s buying
Yep you can bet MA is swimming around like a giant whale shark hoovering up plankton sized share volumes as PI’s bale out.
A challenging back drop and next are increasing profits guidance.
Oh dear this is going to be a painful slog.
I don’t see the present management running the business for much longer. There is a business here but under new ownership and leadership.
Did they really turn down a billion last year?
The only consolation is it’s worth double with the debt sorted out.
Someone is going to do that and have a decent business.
It’s not that good.
This isn’t a technicals charts stock right now.
It’s a recovery play an acquisition play take private play.
Charts are meaningless if they announce they’ve sold ts for £300 mil and forecast 80-100 mil profit next year tomorrow.
A real crap piece of journalism, Frasers last move was to increase physical shares. All they did was not renew their options.
ASOS are not chasing growth at the moment, they’ve made it clear in fact it’s profitable business they want to keep and build on.
Does the sale of misguided mean Frasers is in trouble???? Of course not.
ASOS was a success before topshop they’ve grown it but may be selling to a brand development specialist and will probably continue to sell it anyway.
Just 163k shares traded again less than average volume.
It is a strange stock. It’s kind of all or nothing by the look of it
