I've been in this for years, sold some at the highs last year and bought back in when it dropped. People still don't see the full potential here. It's another year before we will exceed last years highs. Just wait and let it sit.
rippeg, no, not my first ever call and i have emailed previously to ask questions etc. A lot was answered last night, in fact all questions were answered, even as the meeting was about to end another question was asked and Mark insisted on answering. I think i embarrassed myself over the past few months, not fully understanding what the company is trying to do and the process it is going through. Rippeg i suggest you attend the next meeting and raise concerns you have then. I'll be topping up this morning and will continue to do so over the coming days.
Steady, only caught the first half, and thank you for sorting it out.
As i already said, i hold my hands up, after listening to Mark, i got it wrong and i think over time the doubters will be proved wrong. Hats off to City, Stranger and those that believed early on.
Right i caught the first half till the meeting time elapsed. I said i would give an honest opion.
Mark came across very well and i think to sum it up, i'll be buying more in the morning. 100 percent wrong on some of the issues i've raised and i'll hold my hands up now! Sorry to all. Exciting times ahead and very much looking forward to it.
I don't think you will see initial prices that high for some of the NFTs. I thought ME said they would accommodate all entry levels. Would be fantastic to see NFT's being sold for that, but expect a little less, but hoping for quality and volume over a few excessively priced cards.
A lot of the NFT market, specifically digital art, has taken a hit, but if you set that aside and look at fan based sports NFT's the market is stable and has grown over the past few years. I'm critical of the company but not of the long term concept!
Steady, my point is be it fanzine, the world cup or euros, everything generates money through fans going to matches, buying merch or club sponsorship! PL generates 4.5billion every year and it's growing year on year (covid years excluded). 20 prem teams, yes it's through a supporters club website, but it's supporters who spend money!
Steady, I think you will find both the wold cup and Premier League are supported by fans!!! Fans who, all going well, will buy the Hero NFT's (a term which seems to already be coined by a few gaming websites selling NFT's).
World cup 2022 estimated revenue 6.5 billion (every 4 years)
Premier League last season declared revenue generated 4.5billion (every year)
I'm not sure you are right on Mexico being bigger than Fanzine over a given period of time.
