Simon, i think you're a clever guy, you come across as very sensible and educated.
That i'm afraid does not mean squat financially, we all know that someone who's made it, has a good few bob and we wonder how the hell did that silly bugger ever made it so big. The reason is he might be as thick as mince but he has somehow gained financially, Its because he has a flair for the financial and is better suited to attracting money than you or I. He's financially astute, he lets money work for him, It's nothing to do with how smart or how many degrees you have or even your IQ. However it does help if you also have these assets as well as a high financial IQ. So next time you see that guy dont disregard him as just a lucky sod who got all the breaks, speak with him and you might learn something.

property for example that gives you a passive income, mainly increases in value along with rental. sticking a 100k in the bank and getting a few % every year is stupid, invest and max out your borrowing to the absolute hilt, let someone else pay for it.( be brave you only get one shot at life)

The problem is you think thats a diversified portfolio when you are 100% invested in paper and the stock market, when the market goes down all your shares take a beating, diversified means real estate, privately owned business, gold etc .

disagree, for big gains you dont pussy about, all this crap about diversifying into many shares takes your eye off the ball, buy one or two and put in your lot for the biggest gains

Exactly, if it goes up people are buying and visa versa, mm's love a large spread, they dont care where the price goes as long as the have a lot of volitility in the share with plenty buys and sells, its the gap in between where they make their money.

We have already had a CPR and the uncompetent person reported stated it was gas, luckily this wasnt the case for UJO,RBD and Raithlin, I guess if they had recorded it as oil there would have been zero chance of acquiring such a large piece of this massive discovery. Given what they Know now i see no reason for an updated CPR to be produced based on the information that is currently available, surely thats all a CPR is, its only an interpretation provided by an expert of what is known at a specific time.

We are currently sitting at the support level .25p, will need a beating to drop this further

UJO is now being valued mcap c30m, recently UJO was valued c£10m and had a share price of 0.8p
In the mean time we have had a fantastic RNS for WN, where we may have more or less than 100m barrels of oil with majors all looking in and vying for control of this massive discovery.
Wressle has basically been given the Ok to proceed by its council with a production gross value to UJO of c£3.5m per year
While Biscathorpe could still be the jewel in the crown after poor initial results has now been reevaluated as an oil play.
Only £20m of value has been added to the mcap on the back of these company makers and we have a set of jokers on here telling us its been pumped.

He's still UJO's largest shareholder who recently sold a large amount of shares and now has a free carry on the rest.
He's like marmite to some on here.

If they dont want to sell out completely, UJO could farm out and keep a royalty, basically the would bear none of the costs to produce but still own a pecentage of the license along with whatever oil and gas is produced from the field.
This would then allow them to look to focus more on producing from Wressle and Biscathorpe while retaining their investment in WN.
