Where's the RNS that we are going to be in every BMW?
As this would have a material impact on the business don't they have to announce this? or are we still saying NDA's are stopping them from doing this?
Surely we can't be stating this as a fact because Colin has said he thinks that we are in every BMW?
People on here have been wetting themselves for years over Shell, Waymo, Geotab, Mobileye, Qualcomm, Eroad, Omnivision and all the others that I can't remember off the top of my head. On top of that people have been linking us with all kinds of companies, Google, Apple, Coca Cola etc..
Other than Magna with the VW contract name me another that has delivered anything of note!
Until we see Gen3, a contract for fleet worth 100,000 units, large fleet enterprise company contracts, BDMS contracts, 3-4 more large OEM contracts, 1-2 Aviation large contracts this SP is going no where. PM has implied all of these over the last 4-5 years - it's about time he bloody delivered because at this moment in time it just looks like he hasn't got a clue about the market.
And because stated timelines come and go, so I doubt many II's actually believe PMG anymore. I certainly don't, I've put this in the bottom draw until 2026 because clearly the first legislation date is not driving OEM's to make their decisions. What's happened to the US legislation? - that seems to have gone quiet.
I mean fancy saying 2 years ago that circa 10 RFQ's will be decided within 2-3 quarters, it was either complete BS or PMG doesn't understand the market. I can't believe the OEM's would have said 2-3 quarters and then delayed things by another 15-18 months.
Clearly the aviation contracts were never imminent and as for the BDMS volume contracts, fleet enterprise companies that were muted years ago and even the six figure volume fleet contract RFQ which no one else is on - absolutely nothing.
They've even stopped banging on about the first inflection point, apparently that has been and gone, the SP obviously missed that memo. We are now onto awaiting inflection point 2.
And after all this the company's fleet installs and turnover are still pitiful and profitability no doubt has been pushed out even further due to all the new recruits, which we keeping hearing about via the drivel on their social platforms!
They are as bad as the Tories with all their failed promises over the last 13 years.
4 months into PM's latest 3-6 mths forecast for auto contract awards. No wonder no one wants to buy because once again he is failing to deliver.
Clearly this legislation is not worrying OEM's as it is now less than 12 months away for new models and in reality less than that because if you were launching a new model next spring why would you not want to include DMS in those models if the legislation means that only 2 years later you would have to integrate it into those models anyway. That's crazy, surely no car manufacturer wants to have to mess around upgrading cars they only launched 2 years ago?
So I am beginning to think we have a lot longer to wait for 10p+ than people think. Of course PM is never going to come out and say our jam tomorrow is now back to 2026 or beyond so he just keeps making stupid predictions around contracts whether it's for OEM's or 100,000 fleet orders or aviation. I must admit though his best was his 10x market cap by Dec 2024. This is all just bullsh*t to keep suckers like us and II's hanging on.
Oh that's easy - I would suggest the source is PM himself
He has failed to hit any other timeline he has stipulated so it's pretty clear this one will be missed as well by a few months hence Dec23 is a safe bet I reckon!
Why do people think that gen 3 is going to be launched with big orders? Have I missed something or is it just wishful thinking on this and other boards which has just made others believe it and therefore the wishful thinking has just morphed into definite orders at launch?
Spot on Phil01 - this bunch of jokers miss every timeline.
Only 2 months to go and the latest timeline (3-6 months stated in the last presentation in Mar) for auto RFQ's will be missed and lets not forget these were the RFQ's that nearly 2 years ago PM stated 6-9 months.
I expect Gen 3 to be later than his last prediction in fact I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see it until 2024.
Heaven knows when the aviation RFQ or fleet RFQ's will land.
Clearly, II's want evidence that these contracts are actually going to happen and I don't blame them given all the timelines that come and go.
Completely agree, getting so fed up of this share, the only thing keeping me going is that the legislation is getting closer and I would like to think we are going to have to announce some wins in auto/fleet in the next 12 months because of this.
With auto we are now 3 months into Paul's latest prediction of 3-6 mths - at some point - like aviation - these deals will happen (either with us or someone else). I just wish they would stop with the predictions because they are so far out it's embarrassing and they just fuel the frustration even more. Why would II's invest when there is no delivery following the claims in presentations/interviews from years ago and the company is still loss making.
With Guardian I would imagine we will launch gen 3 by 2024 - if this slips further then that's worse than the auto predictions as this is mainly within their control. I'm hopeful that the 6 figure RFQ's Paul talked about in fleet during 2022 are reliant on gen 3 - if they don't materialise shortly after gen3 is launched then you have got to start asking some serious questions about fleet given the snail pace in uptake and the upcoming legislation.
On aviation, they talked about starting work on gen1 in July with Collins, that makes me think that the aircraft RFQ is just being finalised and that's expected in June and that is what they will be basing gen1 on.
I'm still trying to see how Paul thinks the company is going to be valued 10x higher by xmas 24 - he said that when the share price was around 7p I think, nearly 4 months ago - he either knows what contracts they are going to be announcing soon or it's another case of absolute BS. There are going to have to be a steady stream of contracts announced to get this to 70p!
I want to retire in 3 years time, preferably sooner, so get on with it SEE!
I wonder whether we will get an auto RNS contract before the 2 year anniversary of when Paul announced 1bn RFQ's across 10 OEM's that were due to be decided within 6-9 months? Whatever happened to that chart, I'm surprised they haven't given an update on it ....
Or will we get an aviation contract before the 4 year anniversary of the "imminent" deal or the 1 year anniversary of the "end of the calendar year" deal?
Or will we get a fleet contract before the 1 year anniversary of the announcement of the six figure fleet contract that we are the only ones quoting for?
Not to worry though because apparently we now have 4 RFQ's that are purely for the mirror location - so we should get all those within the next 3-6 months according to Paul, although there was a heavy caveat in that so we will probably see the 1 year anniversary of that as well.
The problem is the longer this drags out the more likely people will jump out earlier than they would have done a few years ago due to being sick of waiting - how many would sell now at 10p, but wouldn't have done say 2-3 years ago - surely this will just hold the share price back as well
So another broker reduces their target price - I would have thought at an inflection point and overdue massive deals in aviation and auto, target prices would be increasing not decreasing.
Will we ever see double figures again?
With the SP at 5.75p we would be lucky to get 10p in a buy out. Perhaps why Ive is buying so much - let's say the premium would be 80% it's quite a good return if you have chucked in a few hundred thousand
Couldn't have put it better myself Baxter. I don't see the aviation license appearing for months now after that comment.
As for fleet well I don't expect anything significant from that until well after Gen 3 is launched which they are now saying is H1 next financial year. I bet that will be closer to December than July, therefore, nothing to move the SP until 2024 in fleet at least. And what was the big deal about Geotab? - I thought we announced that partnership about 8 years ago along with another telematics company that I have forgotten - something "mix" if I remember correctly. I remember how this board hailed those telematics deals back then just like they do with all our latest partnership announcements.
And we all know that those Auto RFQ's that Paul mentioned in Nov21 will be longer than the 3-6 months which he has guessed at this time, as he is worse at predicting timescales than I am at picking numbers for the lottery. Interesting no mention of BMW even though people on this board claim we are in every model with the new idrive? Yet they are quite happy to mention the F-150 which they still haven't RNS'd - they obviously can't be bothered to promote themselves widely with announcing their contract with Ford and the F-150 - the mind boggles - it's like they don't want the SP to go up
Not seeing double figures until 2024 at the earliest I'm afraid, especially with the macro environment about to get a lot worse with banking crisis v2 on the horizon
The only queue that I'm in is the one that is waiting for the aviation license deal, a 100,000+ fleet deal and 4 auto wins through Magna (I think he said 4 were mirror RNS's)
PM has practically promised all of them
